Perfect for a nice vacation near Saturnia Hot Springs

I traveled here with friends and family and stayed in one of the two bedroom houses. the location is ideal if you want to be near the Saturnia hot springs or do wine tastings. I was surprised at how nice and idyllic the property was and can easily imagine staying here for a relaxing several days in the summer when the pool is open. The on-site restaurant was also delicious and the breakfast featured many local and home made specialties. I would definitely stay again.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, loved chatting with them. The house rules require as to wash and put away the dishes as well as takeout our own garbage, felt like a bit too many chores while being on vacation. The apartments kitchen was very simple and lacked some of the basics like lids for pots, only one spatula, no peeler/pairing knife. The hairdryer did not work and there was no iron, the host did bring us those items after we asked.

Beautiful location, surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany, lovely and friendly staff, we had everything we needed in our rooms, good value for money, will definitely come back.

We unfortunately only stayed for one day, but we truly wished we could have stayed much longer. The place is absolutely stunning—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly romantic! From the very first moment we walked in, Marco and the family who own the place made us feel like we were part of their own family. They are so incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful with everything. The beauty of this place lies in its simplicity. It’s wildly romantic and calm. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and I can honestly say the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy! It’s a family-run business, and the way they treat you makes you want to come back as soon as you leave. Even though it gets a bit chilly at night, the room itself was warm and cozy, and the bed was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. To Marco and the family: if you’re reading this, thank you for everything! We will definitely be seeing you again next year! All Perfect!

Great location close to the terme dí Saturnia in the countryside. The restaurant next door was delicious. Breakfast was included and was good, more variety would be nice. The pool was beautiful but not heated.

Beautiful place with a nice restaurant and great walking paths. Great pool area, the staff was wonderful, breakfast is amazing and the room is perfectly adequate. You can walk downtown (around 20m walk) if you want. We loved it! Nothing really.

The staff was excellent! They helped us with everything we needed and did their best to assist us when the room didn’t have AC. They even helped us with another issue we had and kindly let us borrow their phone to make calls. The view, location, and pool area were great — we really liked it! The problem with the room was that it didn’t have air conditioning, which was a major issue for us and made it very difficult to stay in the room, especially given how hot it is in Italy during the summer. To their credit, the staff did offer us alternative rooms (which, unfortunately, didn’t suit our needs), and eventually provided us with two fans. There was also an issue in the bathroom — dirt was falling from the wooden ceiling into the sink, and there was no light in the shower.

the swiming pool is a real charm, with space to relax, play, etc. the restaurant La Frasca is serving simple, yet very genuine local cuisine. Despite the warmth of the season, the place is fresh and pleasant. discovering the surraoundings: Scansano, Manciano, Pitigliano and all the historical and culinary treasures was an enchantment.

Excellent location and the most charming grounds with a breathtaking backdrop. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms very clean. The incredible views, strong scent of flowers, and the singing sounds of birds made this place extra dreamy. The two pools were lovely, both offering a unique setting and experience . The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a fairytale setting. Nothing it was great

The apartments were very close to the Staurnia hot springs. The parking was spacious and the kids had a lot of space to play outside. The facilities in the house were okay, but the devices in the kitchen a bit limited.

The cottage was in a beautiful location with horses behind the cottage. The thermal baths were a short drive away, and the restaurant was right there on the top of the hill, which made dinner especially convenient. I think that in summertime this place is like farytale :) Since it was humid outside, the house was also humid, the clothes were damp in the morning and the wet clothes did not dry out by morning either. The radiators were only hot for a short time in the evening and that was not enough.

This was our favorite place that we stayed at during our travels around Italy! My wife and I were looking for a peaceful refuge in between our crowded stays in Rome and Florence, and we were so happy that we booked two nights here at Relais Ciavatta. A friend of ours stayed there a few years ago and she highly recommended it to us, and we were not disappointed. We rented a car and made little trips to some amazing, beautiful nearby towns as well, such as Pitigliano, Bolsena Lake, and Civita di Bagnoregio - upon the recommendation of our lovely hosts. These were all breathtaking places to visit, and the serene, natural beauty of Relais Ciavatta was an ideal place to call "home" in between those excursions. Nothing. This place was perfect!
