Room was perfect everything I needed and nothing I didn't want. Simple, functional, clean.

Great location. Helpful staff. I do wish there were hair dryers in the room instead of having to ask for one. Also coffee only in the main office is a pain when you don't want to get dressed to go get a cup of coffee first thing in the morning! Nice coffee options in the office machine but I rather make my own in the room.

The hotel was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff was a very sweet woman who gave us different ideas. Parking was not a problem and everything worked in our room. They are redoing the pool but that was fine with us. We had a wonderful time in Monterey!

Terrible location…quite a ways from downtown …road noise and paper thin walls…

The parking was sufficient, staff was nice. Could of had more hangers and more than one chair in the room we stayed in. Really liked the idea of shampoo and body wash in the shower as opposed to bar soap. Also the provided moisturizing lotion, loved it, next to the sink in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Stayed two nights with my husband and son. Extremely comfy bed, room was modestly clean, had no weird smell. we got one of the updated rooms but honestly it was still lacking details. The door has no security lock, the tv image was super blurry, the room was clean but did not have enough storage. The small fridge and microwave were useful so that was a plus. The bathroom needs work! Door knob did not lock, trim was broken, tub had mold and gunk and old caulking that needs replacing. No pool but quiet hotel and stay. Would be nice to stay here again and see this details fixed, but if you’re someone who cares about those things then I would say spend the extra $ to get more quality. But if you want a simple and quiet place for your stay, this place is not bad.

Very small rooms- bathroom shower was old and crusty.

the room was clean but there is not a place to hang up my clothes and all night long about every five or 10 minutes there is a water rushing sound that lasts quite a while and it kept waking me up and also everyone near my room can be heard every time they run

Decent hotel. Clean with no amenities. Get what you pay for.

Had stayed there years ago and they use to have more furniture in the rooms.
