the aesthetics of the hotel and balcony, the cafe downstairs was great and the staff was very friendly. an elevator would have been nice but no biggie

Weird having zero human interaction as it was all digital. It worked, but not friendly. A more welcoming lobby would have helped.

Style, location, staff & amenities. The style of the building is gorgeous In the shower, water was running onto the floor because of a wrong slope in the shower’s floor But except that perfect !!!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had quality soap, shampoo, and even conditioner, which was very nice. It’s in a good location. It’s within walking distance from the train station and the old town. The rooms were nicely decorated. You need a code to enter the hotel and to open the door to your room. The internet was unstable and I had to connect multiple times.

The room was very comfortable and beautiful , the bathroom amazing . It was very very quiet and we slept very well I guess I did not understand what a digital hotel was and was surprised to arrive at night in an empty building … I thought it was a little strange . The person on the phone was very nice and helpful , my comments have nothing to do with the person on the phone ! He was the most helpful and nice man . My surprise was mostly due to the lack of people there at the hotel . I understand now that it is probably why the price of the night at the hotel was so competitive …

Great location, good value, helpful staff. This spacious room with a little balcony was perfect for 2 nights in Montpellier. A 5 min walk from the train station, close to an excellent bakery and a 7 min walk to the beautiful museums and shopping.

Central location was perfect. The room and setup were great. The adjoining cafe was excellent for breakfast. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The room is very stylish and highly Instagrammable, making it a nice option for a romantic one-night stay, and the breakfast was genuinely lovely, even if it was surprising to be charged extra to have it brought to the room. The place was also very quiet, and the online team was responsive and helpful throughout the stay, despite everything being handled remotely with no on-site reception. The biggest disappointment was discovering after booking, once the access details were sent, that this is not really a hotel: no reception, no elevator, and irregular access, with a misleading claim of being above a “famous” café. While the pictures look attractive, the reality falls short of hotel standards with poor maintenance, questionable cleanliness (dust under the bed, soap dispensers covered in limescale and grease), and basic security and safety concerns. That said, it can still work as a cute, romantic, one-night escape with lower hospitality expectations, as the room is undeniably very Instagrammable.

While booking the room we were shown photos of the room with the big balcony ( the room that we booked had particular photos of the balcony, for which we chose it) with chairs and table outside, when in reality we were given a room with a « balcony of half foot width », no balcony actually When showing the photo they just said it was the faulf of booking app.

Good value and close to city centre and transport links. Attractive decor. Clean and comfortable. The online / remote reception allowed a straightforward check but we encountered problems with the door code later so we needed to call the online reception to get it fixed which took some time. Having a face to face reception might have resolved the problem sooner.

Exceptional

It was a roomy and actually had a bath (which I didn’t use as I was only overnighting there en route to Spain. I wasn’t entirely sure what a boutique hotel entailed so I didn’t use the website provided properly. So I had to phone up reception to get in. They were very helpful but not being on the premises was not easy for me. I would have preferred someone at a desk on location.

Comfortable bed, nicely designed place staff were wonderful and helpful. The room had nothing but a bed, no where to sit in the room, and the caffe downstairs was still not opened so if you come for work you actually have no where to sit to work for even five minutes. Very inconvenient .

The straw decoration above the bed does not really work with a person that is allergic......
