The location of this property is perfect for experiencing the downtown and old town areas. Plenty of restaurants around, historical sites and shopping. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and I always appreciate being able to part on-site. Would definitely stay at this location again. NA

Clean and quiet A bit soulless. Very modern. On the outskirts of the interesting part of Montpellier

I booked this hotel an hour before I had arrived due to train issues. It is right near the central station but also right near the town so great location. The room was great! Spacious, big shower and a bathtub. If i wasn't in transit I would have made more out of this room as it was fab. The hotel breakfast was also one of the best I've had in Europe. N/A

It's a pretty nice hotel overall, clean and comfortable, really not much to compalin about. We ended up seeing 3 different rooms so I saw that some of them are a bit more 'tired' than others. The 'cowork' area on the second floor is pretty nice; it was sad to see they did not have a proper coffee making machine to make good coffee. When we arrived, it was freezing, so we tried to heat the room—but the AC was only blowing cold air. What followed was a frustrating shuffle from room to room, even moving us to one that was cheaper than what we had paid for, only to find the same issue everywhere. In the end, we went back to the original room and slept in our jackets just to stay warm. Some staff genuinely tried to help, but others dismissed us with “nobody else has the same issue,” which didn’t help at all. We asked for additional blanket THREE times and we got: 1) nothing, 2) a bedding sheet, 3) nothing again.

Location great - vibe very cool. Everything looked promising until we used the restaurant. And then.. so disappointing , it's taken me months to share. Oh dear. Restaurant cold, quiet and staff huddle in corner chatting. We were not served the right ordered food and what was served was banal considering the ramp up of the chef on the website. I couldn't even identify what I was eating. When I called the waiter - he immediately got his 'superior' to come over and the waitress proceeded to shout at me , tell me I was wrong and how dare I not respect her by daring to suggest something was wrong. It was awful - as awful as the food. For some bizarre reason in the saga, the second course arrived and we got up to leave. I complained to the reception staff who were mostly charming apart from one guy who was hostile. The nice lady organised for the restaurant director to see us on the day of departure so we were downstairs at 7am and he never turned up. They charged my card for the meal . When I looked at the comments here on Booking, I had reservations but decided to take a chance which I regret. I have been in hospitality for years and am a chef. The whole way this was treated was shoddy and disrespectful. And I would never recommend. It's a damn shame because the decor and location are awesome but sorry, clients don't get shouted at. And complaints should be taken seriously.

The staff was excellent at suggesting how to buy tram tickets and go to closed stores. The room was very good, comfortable, and well-equipped. The Chromecast connected to the TVs did not work. The staff suggested to change of room, but it was too late to move my daughter for anoher room.

We liked the staff which was friendly and helpful and the location No hot running water , barley warm. The wifi was almost non existent in the loft (duplex suite) and the fridge did not work. The place also needs a repaint. At $300/night, I definitely expect more

Hard to find by car. One way streets make navigation difficult.

The cleaning -- they had clearly not cleaned under our bed since last occupant, saw a large wad of paper and some other things - I did not want to check what it really was, but impossible to miss if you tried to clean there for sure. Perhaps a one-time oversight? Still, not pleasant ! Also, although hotel was easy to get to by foot or tram, it was _very hard_ to drive to by car. And, no place to stop at outside the hotel. Avoid getting here by car.

Very close to everything Stuff are very helpful, allowed late check out because there was availability and helped in giving good recommendations around the city

Location next to the station was very convenient. I had to store my luggage with them both before and after and the staff were very nice about it. They put an electronic tag on it and give you another one, which keeps your bags from wandering off! The room was clean and had appropriate amenities. The lounge area had plenty of outlets for plugging in laptops, etc. I think this hotel is used a lot by young nomadic workers in the tech fields. Enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. The breakfast was fine, but I'm vegetarian and I rely on eggs for my protein in the mornings. I like scrambled eggs, but these were almost like a soup!. Coffee was great, juice also, and there was yogurt and fruit. All good.

Nothing comes to mind Incredibly rude staff - when I asked to be moved out of a disability access room, they laughed in my face. Shower and toilet were unusable. AC was not working properly.

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

The room was quiet, indeed. The bed was comfy. Good offer for breakfast. The hotel is located 50 meters from the main train station, very convenient. My room was dark, with a small window obscured in addition by the outer cover of the building. The lights in the room are horrible, forget reading in bed. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. Fair enough but there is no small sink to wash hands in the toilet already, you need to march across the room to the bathroom. The tv set is partly obscured by a plant that can't be moved (!) On top of that the walls were dirty, there was even a small hole in the wall, the carpet had a burned mark and there were stains on the furniture. It seems that nobody bothers to remove these signs of past stays of guests. The guy at the reception was rather uninformed and the lady who came to help him was so self-confident and imposing that I felt like an intruder, not a welcomed guest. This was the only hotel during my 8-days' trip across Southern France which charged my credit card with 50 euro deposit on the arrival (not possible to leave cash, they accept only credit cards). And for what? There is not even a mini-bar in the room. The place for breakfast resembles a students' cafeteria. So much about the 4-stars that this hotel claims to have.
