Great location. Very central to everything. A little rundown. But clean.

Very good

It was quiet, and mostly clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The sink was cracked badly, and some things were in disrepair, like a hole in the wall. The staff couldn't get me pillows for the sofa bed, and there were 2 sets of sheets/blankets on the bed, one of which had dried blood on it. The sofa bed wasn't comfortable - the mattress should be replaced. More attention should be paid to making up the sofa bed to make sure things are clean.

I received an upgrade to a nice little suite … lots of room … quiet spot … clean room… friendly service… great breakfast… would recommend and stay again!

Room and service was very good.Breakfast was very good. Internet connection was poor.It kept turning itself off. Elevator availability was sketchy.

Having paid in advance for my stay, I was asked for a $100 deposit on my arrival. It’s now over a week since I checked out and my deposit has still to be refunded. Terrible. I have chased them and they claim it’s a banking issue. Yet I have stayed in 5 other hotels during my trip and in each case my deposit has been refunded in 48 hours. This seems like a scam- don’t stay here

Location was ideal. Close to bars & restaurants and subway. Hot breakfast was nice as well. One elevator broke down and the working one was extremely slow

Staff was excellent. Room a bit damp

amazing location. close to tonnes of restaurants and shops. 2 stops to old town. in between 2 subway lines so it's super convenient. the free breakfast is good. they have a waffle machine! the beds and pillows were comfortable. rooms were clean and spacious enough. the room balcony had a great view. the elevator was very slow. no water fountain to refill water. breakfast area is small. we had to eat in our room one day.

Everything Nothing

The room we had was a decent size for fitting 5 people: two beds and a sofa bed. In the lobby, there's a small corner for getting iced water (with lemon), which is nice. The breakfast is quite good, with a good selection of food: scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, yogurt, bread, apples, oranges, cereal. There's a waffle machine and toasters. (On our last day, they didn't have the waffle maker out, but they made pancakes, which is not bad either.) They have instant hot chocolate and instant oatmeal as well. The area around the property is a little bit sketchy. There was construction at one end of the road, so the property was hard to find (we needed to drive through a narrow alley). At night, if you're walking around the property, it feels a little unsafe with some people gathering around bars/clubs. If you're driving, the parking situation is not ideal. You basically have to use the valet service (extra $40/night) where your car is parked in the underground parking of Holiday Inn across the street. If you do take your car out during your stay, they won't park it back if you come back late at night (after 8 or 9 pm). The room doesn't have a normal kettle, only a Keurig coffee machine. If you need to boil hot water for drinking, cooking cup noodles, etc., it's not ideal. There's "hot" water from the lobby, but it's usually lukewarm.

location to the Bell Centre The rooms were extremely outdated and extremely DIRTY!! Wall paper was peeling from the walls, carpets were lifting and dirty. There were "stains" on the ceiling - disgusting. Looked more like a "by the hour" hotel.
