The AC Hotel Marriot Old Montreal is a lovely place with helpful staff, clean & comfy rooms and is well located to the sites in Old Montreal. We liked everything.

We stayed 2 nights in Montreal, old town. Location was perfect. Pubs, restaurants within walking distance. Can recommend The Wolf & Workman, great atmosphere. We didn't eat there, but food looked good. Parking was right next to the hotel. Height restrictions with big vehicles. Had a very warm welcome upon arrival, advice given of places to visit, etc. Room very modern, very comfortable and very clean. Strange door for bathroom, we didn't mind it, but some people might. Very noisy a/c. This had been mentioned previously in reviews. You can put it into night mode, it does become slightly less noisy. Went to bar in the hotel on our one of our nights, they had ran out of beer. Bar tender recommended a great pub instead... as previously mentioned. We didn't book bfast here, plenty of cafés close by. Great hotel, would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. Modern rooms. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Silly grumble: no drawers and towel hooks too modern that towels kept falling off to the floor all the time.

Spacious, modern and clean rooms with welcome AC units which kept the rooms cool during a heatwave. Beds were very comfortable and well maintained every day. Breakfast buffet was very limited in choice. Restaurant / Breakfast staff were not very welcoming, unhelpful and acted strangely. We booked via booking.com which covers breakfast for all occupants. They tried to charge us again for breakfast for the kids until I had to speak to reception to confirm that everything was already paid for. Their only concern was asking for payment on the first day and getting a signature and room number for the breakfast as soon as I sat and had food in my mouth. No connection with customers and very poor service. A choice of eggs were offered the first morning but never again for the duration of our stay. When I asked for poached eggs at the time they couldn't do poached. Coffee or tea was never offered. A coffee carafe was available on the first day and then removed for the rest of our stay, which meant I had to go to the bar and specifically ask every morning for a coffee. So poor.
