Excellent location in Old Montreal, easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

Everything was great, location first of all, and the most wonderful staff. The only thing I would definitely change in the bathroom is the most impractical, ridiculous, and uncomfortable sink. It looks modern, yes, but try to wash your hands without splashing water all over the bathroom. Someone thought it would be chic and cute - it is not!

The architecture was charming, the furnishings were very comfortable. What’s not to like?!

The property was in an excellent locations and had a lot of charm.

A wonderful hotel with a charming european feel in a perfect location. We loved the rooftop terrace and the fact that we could walk to so many restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable. Even though it overlooked a busy street, we heard no noise. The elevator is a bit small and slow. That was okay. It forced us to take the stairs.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and had nice little touches like water and chocolates. The views are stunning! The staff were super friendly and professional. Everything was perfect I did not like leaving ?

Location and view Asked for birthday setup and they promised to offer something in the room but they have not put anything. Rooftop team was not so considering if we are inhouse guests to make some efforts to reserve a table for us in the evening. Did not inform us upon check in about the valet parking charges. It is always preferable to let us know the amount before utilizing the service

Amazing location and beautiful rooms Customer service wasn’t the best.

The hotel is in an excellent location to enjoy the vieux port area! Staff was warm and friendly. The facilities, including Gaspar Tavern, provided a complete and enjoyable experience. Nothing to add!

I think the hotel should select a better pillow! other then that everything was perfest!

The building was beautiful and the staff were outstanding. We enjoyed the 3 restaurants very much. The beds were a bit "low" and the bathroom was tiny which was difficult for 2 people staying 4 nights.
-
The staff - tho understaffed and overworked - went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. Also, the rooms are clean. Restaurant Gaspar is fine; they do a very good burger & a decent steak frite, tho the fries are soggy. It’s actually a really basic hotel. Run down furniture in the lobby, musty smell in some of the rooms, super-basic rooms that do not look like the pictures on the website. Very poor value for money real feeling of bait and switch.

Excellent service. Comfy rooms and attentive staff.

The location was perfect and the room was beautiful The curtains left gaps around the edges of the window so a lot of light came in. Also only one old and slow elevator used by the kitchen and guests. One time something had spilled all over the floor. It smelled and was very wet. Once we found the stairs it was much better.

Excellent location by Montreal waterfront & old town, very walkable. Room was beautiful with wood beams, brick walls, roomy modern bathroom & comfy furnishings. Loved having fresh water bottles each day & a little chocolate treat with turndown service. All the staff were friendly & happily attentive. They surprised us for our anniversary stay with a beautiful river view room, a bottle of prosecco & the sweetest handwritten anniversary card. We’ve never had such excellent service! We enjoyed dinner & drinks on their rooftop terrace. Views and food were delightful! Nothing it exceeded all expectations in every way!
