Hôtel Royal Montreuil

The AC was actually decent! True, you have no control of the thermostat, but it was set just fine. Of course if you are used to live inside a refrigerator, you won’t be happy with that, but maybe it is possible to ask the receptionist. Place was clean, shower was good, bed comfortable, receptionist was nice to me. Metro is very close. Despite a fairly popular quarter, I found many interesting shops, like a few fantastic coffee shops and a pizza place directly on the square with nice pizzas to take away or to eat on the spot Usual problem of budget accommodation, walls are thin and if your guests are noisy then you are in trouble. Location is a mixed bug… Mountrail is probably not the best area, it is clearly a lower class area. There are many moroccan citizens, but I found them friendly, and also I didn’t detect any public safety concerns.

Close to Metro and public market, restaurants, shops. Staff was friendly and available to let us inside the property. Easy check in and check out. Steep staircase but manageable

Its good value for money as : -its clean -close to metro (line 9) -cheap -its ok if you are expert at paris -area is far away from paris (around 19 metro station to arc de triumph and 23 to Eiffel tower) -area looks unsafe and you will feel like you aren’t in france -I stayed 30 mins waiting for the receptionist arrival -it doesn’t look like a hotel from outside -poor isolation -avoid it if its your first time in paris

the meto was just a few metres away from the property which was a great plus. there were a lot of restaurants nearby. the break fast was good for the price . the housekeeping was efficient. the owner and his son were very good and helpful . would surely recomment the property to my friends the room size could be bigger . some of the staff especially during the day time were not up to the mark and more importantly could not communicate even in basic english. wish they added eggs to their breakfast menu.

Property near the metro station, metro 9 Metro 9 have a stop in Trocadero station so you can spend a good night moments in front of Eiffel tower and listen to singers every night Hotel with Bar and restaurant, Carefour city shop just beside the Hotel Nothing

Cleanness, location, transportation options, facilities, value of money, hospitality, hotel staff are all in the top Nothing

Loved the area! Tavernas, Street food, street fair like shopping, staff, and close proximity to Metro and Paris Centre! Wonderful cheese shop and many delicious pastry shops only a few steps away! An age away from US and a trip away from time! It’s always easier when travelers speak the language of the Country! It’s not that I didn’t like this fact, only that I don’t speak more languages than my own! (That’s my fault)! Really need help - right there -taking suitcases and packages up and down the lovely old winding staircase!

A good location It was a good deal for the money

Everything was good. But unfortunately the staff did not speak English. This made the dialogue a little difficult, but in the end we found understanding. Of the minuses - the lack of a kettle and hairdryer in the room. A little noisy in the morning outside the window. But we can tolerate that. Of the pluses - the metro is nearby Thank you for the warm welcome

Excellent location right across the metro. Great neighbourhood with character. Clean, functional, no fuss at all great price. Nothing bad to say.

Great value for money, great connection to transportation, nice view, clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and the shower was great. The room was cold when we arrived and you had to ask at the front desk to turn the heating on.

The bed was very comfy and super clean. Even if I had a room by the street, I didn't hear a single noise from outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Close enough to the metro station. I will definitely come back. No carpet in my room. The toiletry available was the bare minimum. It's too bad because the rest is good quality for the price.

The employee cleaning the room was very nice. Very noisy... No possibility to control the AC. It was controlled by the reception that would randomly turn it off in the middle of the night.

The staff are kind. Metro station is so close. The rooms were visited and the beds were made every day. The hotel is located in a crowded and messy area. Bed sheet was dirty, so we asked the staff to change it. The walls of the room and the backside of the bed were not clean, full of oily spotts. The breakfast was awfull. Once I noticed lip steak of another client on the edge of the cup. Shampoo, soap was not provided enough, sometimes we didn’t have shampoo and took shower without it. Of course we can’t wash the hair with shower gel.

The metro proximity and cleanliness of the room. The room was way too small for two adults, moreover I had to precise that I needed two separate beds for two adults in my booking. Sadly they could not accomodate me upon our arrival. I ended up renting on airbnb for more space and comfort.
