Above 2 bars and extremely loud on the weekends. Temperature control in the room was also difficult

Our room was clean but poorly lit and you had to move the beds apart to be able to open the wardrobe.

Food was amazing and really tasty. Staff are really friendly and very helpful, especially Arron. We even had a roast dinner on a Sunday!! Our room was small, but perfect for my partner and I for a short trip. The beds were very comfortable, had fantastic night sleep every night. Location is great, easy access to chair lifts in morzine and shuttle bus (which was free) into Avoriaz. The shower in our room was small and dark, but this wasn’t the end of the world. We made it work.

Location great. The general staff were nice. Owner seems pretty keen to keep this as a 2* hotel. Not being allowed to quickly change in the toilet cubicle on arrival at 10am was a little unfair - I understand it is also a restaurant but nobody was in the bar at that time. Inconvenient store cupboard for bags down icy walkway which my partner slipped on was not great. Breakfast was fine - Dinner average. Rooms are what you expect for 2* so no complaints, other than clogged up drains and mould in the shower. Pretty loud at night but we expected that.

The staff were soooooo friendly and helpful and relaxed, which was a welcome change from being in Paris :) If it says there's wifi, there needs to be WiFi *in the rooms* not just the lobby OR tell people your wifi is down before they book I don't think I appreciated that a room could be so small (room 10) and having to duck to get to it

Easy to find. Excellent food and friendly staff. Pub/restaurant was very noisy but couldn’t hear anything from our room.
