Hotel Kapetanovina

The area was nice, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. They had a free book exchange that had different language which was nice. They had tea in the room and it was clean and well designed. Also, the room was quiet. I didn’t hear noise outside and the child down the hall could only be heard in the hallway not in my room so that was amazing! There were no vegan or gluten free option for breakfast, for example there were no milk alternatives or hearty/filling options like oatmeal, overnight oats, chia pudding that I could eat with the fruits and veggies. They did have nice fruit and veggies though so I appreciated that.

Receptionist went above and beyond. She helped us with parking and greeted us by name in the morning. The room ran a little warm but was still comfortable.

Room was very good. As a single traveler, all was good. Manager help me with changing EUR -> local currency. Staff was really helpful and kind. Location for sightseeing is perfect. I guess it was still not a main season , (in terms of tourists), thus a breakfast was a bit modest, but still ok. Overall, a good value and good choice if you are staying in Mostar.

Hotel Kapetanovina was a very pleasant surprise, is a boutique hotel right in the heart of Mostar, just a few minutes from the Old Bridge. Property is in excellent condition, bed very comfortable and very clean. The staff was more than attractive and happy to help, specially Sadina a very loving and friendly front desk attendant. Breakfast was good with everything we wanted available.

First time in Mostar and at Hotel Kapetanovina and we would return! The best part was the staff; they were all incredibly kind and gracious and made our stay more enjoyable. The location can't be beat...you are literally steps away from the Stari Most bridge and the Old Town. Rooms and beds were more spacious than we expected, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good, with many homemade items, and eggs and coffee were made to order, which was lovely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. Parking was difficult to find, as it isn't included in the stay, and was only available for a fee everywhere we went. That could just be how Mostar is and not necessarily something specific to the Hotel.

The rooms were clean, we had a great view of the old bridge, the breakfast was exceptional, the staff friendly and warm. Maybe the wifi was a little weak, but it didn't affect our stay at all.

Not enough time there

The hotel is very close to old town and although parking was limited, the staff was very helpful to make sure we got a spot. The room was kept cool prior to our arrival which was nice. It was a large room and the bathroom and shower were amazing. Everything was clean and perfect for our stay. The staff even noticed it was my birthday. They were wonderful. Breakfast was good. I’m not sure what the deal is with the countries in this area, but the beds are all really stiff/firm. We were tired so slept ok. It is just not what we are used to. Still can’t complain. Great hotel. We would stay here again.

The hotel was a 2-3-minute walk from the Mostar Bridge. There was paid private parking very nearby. The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean. Thank you for everything.

The staff were genuinely kind and thoughtful. On my last day, I came down after breakfast had ended, and instead of turning me away, the receptionist kindly offered me coffee and made it herself. Later, another lady offered to prepare food just for me. They constantly checked if I was comfortable and needed anything, always with a smile. The location is perfect — just a few steps from the Old Bridge and the beautiful riverside. Everything was close and walkable. The entire experience felt warm, safe, and welcoming. Nothing to complain about. Everything was smooth and exceeded my expectations.

Location was close to all major attractions. Wi-fi was good. Breakfast was okay , nothin excellent about it. Indira at the reception was very friendly and had a helpful mentality. Air condition was not as cool as expected , we couldn't adjust on our own , had to keep asking help from staff , who were helpful to come over to fix it.
