The room was very spacious, and the views were beautiful. The service was excellent, and everyone was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding, with a good variety and high-quality food. The dinner buffet was excellent as well, although a bit pricey. The outdoor pool was nice, and the hotel's location was convenient, with easy walking access to both the beach and the aquarium. The main downside for us was the beach. It wasn't clear to us before booking that snorkeling isn't allowed there, and the very low tide makes it less suitable for swimming in general. The swimming area is also restricted, so you can't go far, and even walking along the beach is limited. We wish we had known this in advance when choosing where to stay. The aquarium, while enjoyable, was smaller and busier than we expected. In addition, the area around the hotel is very quiet, with relatively few restaurants and limited dining options nearby. If you are looking for a lively area with lots of things to do and many places to eat, this location may feel somewhat limiting. I think this hotel is perfect for families with young kids or couples looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay.

We wished the hot tub by the outdoor pool would have been heated.

The breakfast buffet was good/sufficient, unfortunately only until 10am and for dining in restaurants you have to drive further out. When its raining there’s less you can do nearby.

The internet is terrible—it's super slow and keeps disconnecting constantly.

The view and facility was attractive, clean, and well maintained. I guess it’s a bit unfortunate they can’t heat the pool outside, but I totally understand as it would waste a lot of energy in cold seasons. I have an idea: heat the whirlpool next to the outdoor pool to a nice warm degree. It’s sort of heated to lukewarm only now, but if they did that it would create a great cold/hot plunge experience everybody would enjoy a lot. Now, the pool experience is just disappointing to everyone who tries. (Except kids, who are happy with the small indoor pool). For the cost of the hotel, it seems fair and also a minor investment to meaningfully imorive guest satisfaction.

Rooms were very clean and every angle had a beautiful view I felt that the dinner buffet was overpriced and not much for the value. No one was able to assist us with finding a snorkel gear rental. Very frustrating.

This hotel is definitely « baby/kid friendly » We traveled with our son (8 months) and we felt lucky staying in this hotel. Kid playground , possibility to rent stroller, the aquarium is 5 minutes walking, beach 2 minutes , a pool dedicated for baby, restaurants in the hotel offered baby food. Great destination for family with baby. Nothing

Close to the beach and aquarium. Bed is so hard and on the side of the bed have big stain , pillows aren’t comfortable at all, over price and charge more even when I book I put 2 children ( 2 years old and 12 years old)and even pay little more extra for room for 4 people. Air conditioner isn’t cool at all.

Rooms were spacious with a kid-friendly/utilitarian feel. We appreciate the modern feel of the lobby and dining facilities. The SIRIUS buffet is one of the best on the island. The buffet menu is focused on fresh and well-balanced offerings, with a section for Okinawan cuisine that has a lightness in taste. We used the indoor pool in late March because it happened to be too windy to swim outdoors. The pool was warm and clean. There were no family rooms that could fit 5 guests so we had to book 2 rooms. There was an additional, slightly expensive charge to use the onsen so we skipped it.

Stunning hotel in a gorgeous natural setting and warm hospitality. I had an incredible time at Orion Hotel. My room was was very spacious and looked out onto Emerald Beach. The entire hotel and my room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Every staff member was exceptionally kind and helpful, and I felt well taken care of. We had both breakfast and dinner buffets on 2 consecutive days and there was good variety and lots of healthy options. The sashimi and nigiri were so fresh! The dine in staff made sure I could avoid dishes that I were allergic to and even provided a allergen chart covering the entire buffet menu. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. The lady at the activities desk was very helpful in getting us discounted tickets to the aquarium and the bus ride back to Naha. The free welcome drink on our first day was a nice touch and we enjoyed our Orion Beer (tasted so good!). The hotel is located in walking distance to the Ocean Expo Park and the Churaumi aquarium. But the even cooler part was that you can always catch the park's tour bus in front of the hotel, which runs every 10-15 minutes and makes it very convenient to go to all the attractions nearby without getting tired. The park bus drivers are also very nice. I was also impressed by the salt hot springs, which were clean, hot and relaxing. You get a dreamy view of the ocean while sitting in the open air hot spring or steam room and it feels like heaven. If you feel like doing a little shopping, you can also check out the stores on the property that carry a variety of gift items at reasonable prices. I was also pleasantly surprised to see so many families with young children and grandparents staying at the hotel. It's a very family-oriented hotel that is accommodating to everyone's needs. I loved seeing all the children smile, laugh and have a good time. Next time, I want to come when it's warmer and check out the outdoor pool and try other restaurants. Nothing. Everything was perfect!
