Mercure Hotel Muenchen Neuperlach Sued

Location is near the U and S Bahn station with a 5mins walk. Room card keys does not always work and you always have to go come down to the reception to re-program it. We kept the card away from other cards or magnets.

breakfast There was no wifi in the room and management refused to correct the situation. We had to use the wifi in the lobby. The room had no heat in December it was cold. After the first night we finally got a space heater.

They didn' t clean room even we requested. Every day asking for clean towels .

Facilities were fair, the front desk people were also amazing. Sauna and fitness included in price, and very decent. The cleaning crew was just out of control. For reference I stayed at the 3rd floor. The day I checked in, AFTER i was already taking nap from my long lasted flight, the crew just open the door of my room and kept talking until realised the room was occupied. (For context, they were shouting between each other in the corridor between 15.30 and 17). Then on the check out day, and after me locking the door for obvious reasons the day before, they managed to enter 5 times between 10.30 and 11.30, while check in is at 12. One of them I was already taking shower. Finally, room’s overall cleanness could be easily challenges by dusty surfaces, spiderwebs and breadcrumbs on the carpet. Also, I do not know if I am well spoiled or it’s a thing in Germany, but WiFi did not reach my room and when I used it in the common areas, it was just disappointing.

TV not working. Was going to move us but couldn't guarantee that the TV would work.

Our room had been refurbished and was quite spacious. The breakfast was good. The location was too far out of the city. Very poor amount of eateries to choose from.

Location was walking distance from the train station.

The hotel is so so but the Staff made all the difference. They are wonderful and very helpful to our requests. Both shifts went beyond their call of duty. Made the stay even if our room has issues but their good attitude made up for it. Very basic room with nothing but a room. No extras.

The staff were all fantastic! The breakfast buffet was amazing also! No refrigerator and some of the lights in the room didn’t work.

Soap didn’t work at sink person at front desk was “indifferent” about notification Was told no service unless asked for and some reason someone came in. Did not fix soap or empty trash, just made the beds

Need more pillows and diner should stay open more

Price was amazing, breakfast very good ! The room was a little dirty but that's reasonable. The first two days there was a problem with the room keys, we only received compensation after I went to ask for it, it's very disappointing that the staff didn't offer compensation themselves.

Close to public transportation, clean rooms, friendly staff, and nearby market. Air con not very cool

We booked the hotel because it was stated that it's non-smoking property.. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room that the previous occupant had smoked, and inflammatory perfume used to remove the stench. It' did not help. We had to open our window fir the duration of our stay to contain the smell No customer should be as allowed to smoke inside the rooms.

The location was great in terms of getting the train into Munich City centre. The staff were very helpful. The shower was good too. It was cheap. The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Very little sleep during our two night stay. The air conditioning didn’t work at all. It was so hot. The rooms are very dated, not seen wood chip wall paper since the 70’s.

No air condition, we didn’t sleep at night as it’s very hot. Our kettle was licking, we ask for replacement, the told me they cannot replace it. We cannot drink tea on our 2 days stay.
