The hotel was beautiful, modern and luxurious. The location was excellent, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. Everything was generally very good. However, the service could be a little faster at times.

The location is close to the train station, historic Munich and museums. BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHECK-IN LATE! They might not give you the room you booked and paid for, and then will go out their way to not reimburse you the difference! I booked, and prepaid, a beautiful corner King room, but at check-in none were available. Instead, they gave me a room for disabled persons with a sit-down shower and bars everywhere. I was then given a lower category room (with a luke warm shower and view overlooking a parking garage) with the promise by 2 staff members that I would be compensated. The following morning at check-out, when I asked the manager to be reimbursed the difference in room category (at minimum), they refused. They immediately took an adversarial tone. The client instantly became the enemy. No reimbursement for difference in room category will be given, the hotel will keep your Euros at all cost. And after a few email exchanges, they will not budge. What is shocking is that such a presumably "Luxury Hotel" doesn't feel it necessary to honour pre-paid bookings. The service is very good until they make errors that they do not wish to repair, then the veneer of smiles and politeness disappears. They want to get paid for a higher category room, give you what is possibly the worse room in the building, and fight with you to keep the difference.

The location was excellent. Just next to the S-Bahn station, and a few mins away from Marienplatz. The hotel was luxurious and the room was excellent. Toilet was modern and very clean, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our flight landed early in the morning, we got there at 10am and the staff managed to check us in and got us a room! The concierge was also very helpful in providing directions to where we wanted to go. And the best part was when we were leaving - had to go to the Munich central station. It was raining and a challenge to take the short walk there. The hotel staff gave us a ride there! It was totally unexpected but such a delight. We were so appreciative.. It’s a bit pricey but well worth the price!
