Close to the train main train station Air conditioning was not as effective as it should have been. Process for early check in needs to be improved - originally offered for a fee, then offer withdrawn. The area around the station felt unsafe with lots of people just hanging around street corners - after travelling through 13 countries so far this summer, this city felt the most unsafe.

Very central location. The room was small for a ‘junior suite’. It wasn’t very clean- a lot of dust on our bags that we left on the floor. Stains on the sofa bed. A few things in the room didn’t work - electrical sockets, bedside light. It isn’t in the nicest area of Munich.

We stayed for 2 nights specifically because we wanted to be next to the central station. In general, it was a very decent hotel, the breakfast was surprisingly good even offering omelettes. What really mattered for me was that we felt safe during a fire alarm in the middle of the night, it took us 5 minutes to get from the 5th floor to the entrance and by the time we got there there was already 2-3 police cars and 2-3 fire trucks because the hotel’s alarm is directly linked to the police and the fire department. Not even 30 minutes and we were back to our room after the fire department gave the all clear. The mattress and the pillows need to be replaced.

It was close to the main train station. Even during the construction process it was still easy accessible by way of the underground. The neighborhood was questionable but we had no problems getting in and out of the hotel. Showers were a little tight for someone that is 6 foot 8 inches 250 lbs.
