This modern design hotel is a 5-minute walk from Munich's Main Station and the pedestrian shopping area at Karlsplatz. It offers stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi, and great transport connections. Hotel Cocoon is a strictly nonsmoking hotel. Its retro-style rooms feature designer bathrooms with rain showers, and unique cocoon chairs which hang from the ceiling. Reception is open from 06:30 to 22:30. Check-in is possible at reception until 22:30. After 22:30 you can check in yourself at the night check-in terminal. A full breakfast buffet is available every morning in the Cocoon's breakfast room. Hotel Cocoon is set in a quiet side street in a multicultural area between the Main Station and Stachus, in the center of Munich. It is a 10-minute walk from the Theresienwiese, the site of Munich’s Oktoberfest beer festival. Munich Town Hall at Marienplatz is a 15-minute walk away. From Munich Main Station, there are direct underground connections to the Neue Messe Exhibition Center and direct trains to Munich Airport. A public parking garage is available nearby for an additional charge.

Great location, great coffee and breakfast, friendly staff well organised, clean and quiet. Cute decor. Our room had a separate toilet from sink from shower which was a bit unusual. The shower is entirely glass so not super private if you have a roommate.

Very convenient location to reach the old city on foot. It is in a red light district though but I stayed with my kids and it was ok. Very nice room super clean, good breakfast, I would book it again Staff is very nice kind and helpful, not too proactive but we had a very pleasant stay

It is a nice hotel, near the central station and at the same time, very close to Old City. The rooms are cosy, well equipped and very clean.The staff members are very nice and helpful.

Nice quiet room at the top, cool and good. The welcome by staff was a great introduction to Germany. Still I won’t be returning again. I’m sure it does the job as a hotel transit stop but the area was pretty sketchy too.

hotel, location is perfect, near to the stations staff, supportive and helpful, Engie do all what she had to do to make us happy and comfort Cappuccino, taste is so wonderful, thing to remember for long time it's not hotel itself, the construction in front of the hotel, not safe at all specially with 5 years old kid after 11PM cafe machine switched off, after a long day shopping and leasure, I used to take a cup of cafe before goinh to sleep
