We booked this hotel for two nights, but due to an urgent and unexpected situation, we had to leave one day earlier. Unfortunately, the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility or understanding and charged us the full amount for both nights. What made the experience even more disappointing was that, despite our early departure and the circumstances, they still made sure to ask whether we had used anything from the minibar. Very disappointing customer service and a complete lack of understanding toward guests in an emergency situation.

The location is super central for all activities in Munich Old Town but also further afield as the local tram and underground station is less than 2 minutes away. Local restaurants a plenty on the backside of the Frauenkirche. Nothing to write about here!

What an amazing hotel! The location is superb, the room outstanding, but the staff, oh my! They are the best. From the welcoming to every step of our stay, they are fantastic, friendly and professional. The room in this small hotel was so tasteful and elegant. I cannot recall staying in a hotel with wooden floors but this just adds to the charm. Comfortable mattress, very well appointed mini-bar and a great rain shower! We had dinner at the restaurant. Asian-themed and terrific sushi/nigiri/drinks. The service at the restaurant equalled the service at the hotel. Just will add a sentence about the location - a stone’s throw away from Marienplatz and multiple subway stations. This was a great stay and will not be our last.

This was our second visit to this fabulous property; such a great location near the Old Town yet away from the inevitable noise and buzz of this wonderful city. We were kindly upgraded (again) and can only rave about the superb room, service and excellent front of house staff. We visited the hotel bar and upstairs terrace for the first time and met the charming Sicilian barman who was huge fun! Nice touches include fresh fruited water on arrival, complimentary Nespresso pods in the room, luxurious sheets and towels and delicious Molton Brown toiletries. 11/10, highly recommend! Nothing!!!
