Flemings Hotel München-City

Lots of construction in the area. Hotel is under renovation. Had to go to a hotel 4 blocks away for breakfast. Did not get a refund on the last day when we couldn't get to the other hotel for breakfast in time.

It was clean, comfortable bed and room, conveniently located, and had air conditioning!

There is a change in ownership happening at the moment which meant the room was not as advertised, it is understandable that it takes time to update everything. The water coming out of the tab was super hot with no warning, the aircon was working with limited capacity (we do have a heat wave).

The hotel’s greatest advantage is its location. It’s very close to the Hauptbahnhof, making it easy to get anywhere in the city quickly and conveniently. The room wasn’t dirty, but it felt somewhat overlooked. We expected better maintenance and attention to detail, as some elements, such as the curtains being off their rails, made the room feel less well-kept than expected. The minibar fridge was so ineffective that it didn’t even seem to cool itself. Another downside was that there wasn’t any outdoor seating area available to use later in the evening. It would have been nice to have a place to sit outside and relax after a day of exploring.

Fitness center was a little tired with many dumbbells missing

Both hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly. Not a beautiful neighborhood but location is very convenient since it's just across the central train station, Great experience overall.

At this very gracious establishment, the very kind lady staff has upgraded my reservation spontaneously to a spacious pent house with two floors, not only permitted my early check in upon arrival. I could quickly enjoy the sauna facility before heading for my afternoon event, even though the bathroom space of the room itself was also very spacious. The view from the top windows was quite interesting to see wider areas, including mountains, across the Munich city center, the roof came with the star gazing windows (though it rained, so, I closed it during the night), and the lighting of the two floor room (Bed room was upstairs of the spiral staircases) were interesting and funky. I could highly recommend this room for a romantic long weekend stay. Both young/mature couple would enjoy stay there (* - except for people with mobility challenges, or a fear of height, who might not feel comfortable to go up and down the spiral staircases to reach the bed upstairs). Other room equipment/amenity were more than sufficient: such as bathrobes, room slippers and a personal yoga mat. Bravo! I wish I could have stayed there longer! If I really need to add something more to the room, that would be extra hangers and a wardrobe for long length dresses.

The location near to HBF There isn't a phone in the room to call the receptionist or even an emergency, the curtains don't cover all the window, allowing sunlight to enter the room early in the morning and wake us up also we couldn’t take naps either during the day, and the bed and pillow aren't as soft, which makes sleeping uncomfortable. No refrigerator to store your drinks or food. Finally, the shower cabinet is transparent just infront of the bed (NO PRIVACY) so it’s not suitable for friends as they will take shower infront each others.

The location is ideal across from the main train station. I loved all the little cafes and restaurants within 5 blocks. Karlsplatz is only a 9 minute walk. Marienplatz is only 20 minutes depending on what you want to see. The subway is close and the tram is about a block away. The people are great and we both loved the configuration of the room. I am not a fan of pedestal sinks in the bathroom.

5 minute walk to the train station. Large room. Great staff. Was presented a number of available rooms with their locations and advantages and we got to choose what we valued. Where does that happen? Lightning in the bathroom area was a little dim.

Best location and great breakfast. Glasdoor shower not really ideal if you are sharing the room with another person.

Pose-in-the-nude shower might be odd--but I was traveling on my own.

Close to the train an downtown. Very safe area. Clean and friendly staff. The glass “fish bowl” shower open in the room. Nice for spouses but odd for a family.

Very convenient location near the train station. We were also allowed to leave our luggage before check-in, which we really appreciated. The reception staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. I travelled with my mother and our dog, and the hotel was very convenient for us. The room was clean, spacious enough for two people to open large suitcases comfortably, and there was no dog smell in the room at all. Having a lift also made carrying luggage much easier. There were plenty of restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets near the station, so finding food was very convenient. The only small downside was that the refrigerator in the room was not very cold. Also, since I was travelling with my dog, I personally would have preferred a room without carpet. However, it was not a major issue, and overall we still had a very comfortable stay.

The spiral staircase was inconvenient and a little scary at night
