Breakfast could be more diverse.

The location is the best about that place. Right in city center. Good breakfast and friendly staff Quite outdated rooms and bit noisy.

This hotel is in a wonderful location close to the English Garden. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable. It's in a very nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast buffet is tasty and varied. The subway is an easy walk away and easy to use. If you stay in "the castle", the rooms are huge and well appointed with beautiful views of the gardens.

Very nice, unassuming and pleasant accommodations. Quiet location and garden are wonderful respite.

We LOVED this hotel! It felt like staying in an old castle, and I guess that's what it was! It was a gorgeous view and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Room was a bit bare decorative-wise, but it really doesn't need anything, the location and outside view make up for it.

Great place! Very Quiet. Front desk gals super, very helpful, friendly. Location bu English garden excellent, also easy access to u Bahn station, restaurants. The club room with free coffee and tea for guests is a nice bonus. Breakfast is tasty and filling, good coffee. Grounds are very pretty and I peaceful I will stay there again on future visits Also Fraulein Miller's Kiosk across street has wonderful soups and lemon cake, choc cake Bed was just OK. I had a single room, cozy but space was fine. Fitted sheet on bottom would be better but it wasn't a bi deal. Really not much to complain about it's a great place to stay!

Great location within walking distance to the train station. Nice surrounding neighborhood with lots of places to find dining. Breakfast is included and it’s quite good.

The location was quite central and near an underground metro, which makes it convenient. The breakfast was good as well, but lacked hot items and cakes/pastries. It just had plain croissants. The front desk personnel were very helpful. No parking, but there is a parking garage nearby, which costs around €18 for an overnight stay.

Our room was located in the back building which was a small castle at one time. We thought it was super cool to stay in a castle. The room was super spacious and really nice. Super hot water in the shower if needed and a hot water drying rack in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Our room overlooked the wonderful gardens in front of the building plus the windows had power window shades. Right out the front door of the main facility was access to the English Garden which we took advantage of. Everything about our stay here was super great. Perhaps that the public transportation access points were a little more of a walk than advertised. But certainly not a reason to not stay at such a cool place.

The Guesthouse Catholic Acadamy in Bavaria is a great place to stay in Munich. It is super peaceful there. and very close to the peaceful and beautiful English Garden. The room was comfortable and roomy in the Kardinal Wendall house. There is an elevator, good as my room was on the 4th floor. They have a nice breakfast every day, with scrambled eggs, various kinds of bread , butter, jam, cold cuts , cheeses, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. It starts at 7 am which I liked as I liked to get going in the am. Claudia and Jane at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They have a club room where you can get tea, coffee and other beverages. In the back there is a nice big lawn and across the way is the Schloss Surness (another guest house). There is a cafe / kiosk very close where you can get nice soup, coffee or tea and delicious lemon cake. I think it's called Frau Muller's Kiosk. There are a number or restaurants nearby , I got pizza one night, and a burger another. Public transport subway is nearby. I would say it is a bit farther from the central city sights than I stayed last time but I think the peace and quiet is worth it, and you can get into the city quickly on the subway. can't think of anything I didn't like

We really liked Cornelia who helped us check in and explained the facility. Very nice & personable. We felt welcomed. The location was very good, next to the English Garden & 2 blocks from the metro. It made getting around easy. Our room was spacious and clean. Everything seemed fine.

The property is well maintained and park like. Close to public transport. . Street parking is the only downside.
