Fantastic location, excellent breakfast and the staff was exceptional our room was right over the bar, which can get loud......They warned us, so we expected it. To be honest, it was not an issue at all.

Great location Great staff, very inviting Nice rooms No air conditioning, unfortunately for us we went on a very hot day and it was impossible to sleep. Not their fault, government doesn’t allow AC in the windows. If you are going on colder days, with the windows open it would be fine. Rooms are a bit small but it was fine.

The staff were friendly but we checked in and on seeing the room checked straight out Small stuffy room, fans did not work well and no air conditioning. The rooms are accessed from a small corridor at the side of the hotel which smelt bad (vomit) from the lively cocktail bar attached to the hotel that extends out onto the street. We decided the room wasn't for us and so politely checked out and booked somewhere else in the city - the barman was apologetic and offered to refund the cost of the room, which we thought was a lovely gesture and not expected. However, I contacted the hotel several occasions to process the refund but was ignored.

The room was spacious and in a great location. Nice bright big windows and friendly staff at the bar below. The building was incredibly hot and didn’t cool down overnight. One night I slept with a wet towel over me. I’ve never had aircon and am from Australia but this was one of the hottest nights I’ve ever had.

Clean and great location. Friendly staff! The mobile aircondition unit in the room was really noisy and not working properly. We kept the windows open instead but it was a bit noisy. The toilet and shower area was very small and run down, e.g. the shower door was broken

We really liked the location. The staff were very friendly and helped us take our luggage to the top floor, but the hotel rooms did not all have air-conditioning and so we had to move rooms. I would say it was quite a basic hotel. Basically, it was a bar restaurant which happened to have a hotel above it. It didn’t have any of the facilities you would expect for a hotel such as a mini bar or a kettle or a phone in your room. It was quite basic.

Check-in was lovely - they greeted us with a welcome drink (we went with coffee) and the staff were consistently warm and pleasant throughout our stay. The hotel's restaurant and bar are right on site, and it's just a short walk from Marienplatz, which made getting around Munich by train very easy. Breakfast was a nice a la carte spread and the room was clean. The bathroom was quite tiny - the sink was too small to comfortably brush teeth or shave, and the shower cubicle was cramped too. Our room faced the front of the building, so it had no air conditioning, only a weak fan, and with the recent heat wave we ended up feeling pretty hot through the night.

Central location maker Tim’s and main sights and staff were very friendly Small room with ikea cushions as pillows and sitting directly above a nightclub that was open until 1.00am each night. If you room is for simply luggage storage and you are dont plan to sleep, this is you idea venue at a premium price.

Abysmal experience. The warning that there might be noise does not even begin to address the magnitude of the problem: it is absolutely impossible to sleep because of the music from the bar downstairs ( vibrating through the walls) and the noise from the bar customers. There is ( of course) no air conditioning and the room ( ours at least) was unbearably warm. The fan provided was useless and keeping the windows open would have meant enduring glaring street lights in our faces and a level of noise equivalent to being in the bar ourselves, plus getting some cigarette smoke in the room from the smoking people downstairs. The bar is open till 1-2 am and then comes the cleanup, which you can also hear loudly. On top of it all, the room was extremely dusty and poorly cleaned. Not a hotel you can sleep in, really, entirely inadequate for its purpose.

Excellent location! Friendly, helpful staff. Nice little bar downstairs. As this was a business trip, being located on the 1st floor above the bar meant it was a little noisy. To keep the noise level down, I closed the windows. Unfortunately, due to the heat wave the room was extremely warm, even with the fan. The aircon in the room did not provide much relief as it wasn't really working.

Location location location and staff were very accommodating with storing luggage. Showerhead was very powerful and AC was great. Even with central location, I didn’t hear the crowds AC blocked some leg space. A fridge would be nice to have
