Hotel Metropol by Maier Privathotels

All the staff were very helpful. They provide a coffee machine and refreshing fruit-infused water at reception. I stayed in both a Superior Room and a Deluxe Room, and both were clean and cosy. I personally preferred the Superior Room, while my husband preferred the Deluxe Room. The hotel is conveniently located close to the central station and the city centre. I would definitely stay here again. This is not the hotel’s fault, but you still need to be as careful as you would be in any other major city, as the hotel is located close to the central station. München is relatively safe, and the hotel itself is in a safe area, but you can never be too careful.

Great location and value for money. Hotel is located within minutes walk from Munich Central Station, very accessible to trains and trams. Excellent communication from the start, with self serve check in option. Reception staffs are friendly, gave good explanation of services and facilities; check in process efficient. There is also complimentary coffee, tea and lemon water provided. Room is as described. Clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and washroom amenities well equipped. Hotel also offer complimentary luggage storages. Overall, excellent stay at Hotel Meterpol and highly recommended! Not hotel's fault, but my room opposite to construction sites so some loud noises from 7am onward.

A robust and generous breakfast. The room was perfect for a solo person about to head to the alps for a hiking adventure. The AC was a nice bonus. Easy to get to/from the train station. They even held my bag between hikes. everything was wonderful!

One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had in my life. So many choices. I loved the loose tea selection, and the bread slicer. It is only the second time I have been offered braunschweiger as part of a breakfast buffet. The other time was the day before in a hotel in Passau, Germany. A firmer pillow option would be nice as I don't like down pillows much. I would also like a lighter blanket option as I don't need a full comforter because it gets too hot.

Walking distance to the railway station was great. And good to be able to park.

Great hotel with warm and welcoming staff. Lovely safe spot close to the tower and good eating spots.

Very polite staff. Room was spacious and nicely decorated, The bathroom was great. Central location. Although the location was in the city centre, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, as it felt a bit dodgy. We would probably not be comfortable walking around the area during the night.
