When I arrived and the towels in the room were dirty I thought ok, a simple mistake. Then the safe deposit was not working, I thought ok another slip. Then I asked if they cleaned my room on the 2nd day of my stay and they didn't. Then I kindly asked for a late checkout and it was refused. When I complained to the manager of the whole hotel, they offered me 50EUR in return for a 3 day stay and total bill of 1500 EUR. This type of customer service is below 2-stars hotel and I would never in my life imagine this hotel could have 4-stars..

The location of the hotel was very convenient even though it is in the middle of a very busy street. We did not have any breakfast from the hotel. It seemed to be bit expensive Interaction with the receptionist at the restaurant was unpleasant. She appeared to be rude and very unfriendly.

The stay was excellent, but it would be better if the carpets in the hallway leading to the rooms were removed, as the floor carpets have a bad smell and hinder the movement of luggage.

Fitness center, rooms and breakfast The neighborhood detracted some from the fine hotel. It’s great to be by the station, but the shops in the neighborhood were not up to the hotel’s standards.

Location The parking was a bit challenging and the lack of elevators in the parking.

The location was perfect for us...right across the street from the Munich Hbf. The room was spacious and had a king bed instead of two twins joined. The bathroom was large and there was was plenty of closet and storage space. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. We only stayed four nights, but we wish it could have been more. Nothing at all.

Location was very convenient, just nearby the main station Breakfast to be included in the same price and they should have some kind of Tourist card

The Meridien's location can't be beat: across the street from the main train station (including subway stations and S-Bahn (city train)) and very near tram and bus stops. It's walking distance (for good walkers) from the city center. It has a garage with EV chargers. The staff are friendly and capable, the restaurant and the bar serve fine food and drink, and the rooms are sound-insulated. There's plenty of space for your clothes and toiletries. Wifi worked well: we are Bonvoy members and this is a Marriott, so there was no extra charge, but non-Bonvoy members pay a daily fee. I can't blame the Meridien for having a garage with tight corkscrew ramps, but despite my husband's considerable driving skills, we scraped a wheel on our SUV (which is not one of the huge ones). However, the real issue I had with the Meridien is the claim that it has air conditioning. It does, but guests can't set it lower than 19 degrees Celsius. Now that is supposedly 66 degrees Fahrenheit, which would have been more than fine, especially given environmental concerns, but the room was never near that cool -- instead the room got stuffy and hard to sleep in. The situation was made worse by the fact that the duvets were made of polyester, which does not breathe. Our solution was to take the duvets out of their cotton covers, put them under our bottom sheets, and sleep under the duvet covers only. It was late April, but unusually warm for a good part of our stay. Still, it got cooler at night so we were able to open the window, and thanks to the temperatures and our earplugs the noise from the beer garden in the courtyard below was not a factor. Opening the window would not be an option in summer, and I can't sleep when it's hot, so I would not stay at the Meridien between May and September, period.

Cozy room at great location, two steps away from main train station, 15 mins away from very city center. Rich breakfast and clean spa. Highly recommend. I don't have negative memories.
