They offered breakfast on the top of Schilthorn which was wonderful. Very cute appearance and great location- close to gondola station. The beds were very firm for our liking and the shower was very awkward as the shower head came out of the side and sprayed onto the floor. The bathroom was small and had no room for a toiletry bag.

Location was pretty close to the cable car station. We had a delicious lunch at the Alpenruh with a great and friendly staff. Turns out the Alpenruh and the Blumenthal are sister properties run by the same management company. Mürren is very peaceful in the evening in April. Loved it!!! Nothing worth noting. It was all a staff-free check-in as there is no staff on the property off-season. Instead, breakfast and check out were through the Alpenruh which is down the street next to the cable car station.

The staff was very nice, the location was great, and the meals very good. The room was very hot, and we could not find the thermostat. Also, the bed was too soft, and we both woke up with backaches.

The Views and Comfort of the Blumental are always exceptional. Excellent Breakfast Murren is getting busy and more expensive.

We had enjoyed a meal in the hotel’s restaurant on a previous visit to Mürren, so decided to try the hotel itself this trip. We were rewarded with a classic and beautiful Swiss building complete with the famous Swiss hospitality. We had a very nice room on the back with views of the funicular and grazing cows on the mountainside. Our room was quiet, comfortable and enchanting with handcrafted furniture and woodwork. We can also highly recommend the restaurant with its excellent game menu, reservations are a must. The location is great, on the main street about halfway between the train station and the cableway, right across from the Coop. The coffee shop next door is a bonus and perfect for an afternoon refreshment or light meal. No negatives

WiFi was included, as was a lovely daily breakfast. Our server recognized us on day 2 and remembered our hot morning beverage orders, not a requirement, but it was very nice and the service was great all around. The kids’ bed, a pull out sofa, was pretty hard. Though they didn’t seem to notice. And from the photos, I thought we would have a balcony, but I don’t think the family room option has any balconies, more of a Booking.com error than the hotel’s.

Great location. Nice staff. Murren is a beautiful little town in the Swiss Alps. Just a little walk from the train station and many great hikes. Took the funicular up to the Flower Trail on my first day and the views were outstanding!

Location and traditional style Poor breakfast with little choice. Poor soundproofing between our room and room above. Very noisy occupants above.

I was able to check in early and was upgraded to a better room. The room was exceptional. Ski room was great and opened up to the laneway that leads to the lifts, a walk of about 50m. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was in the centre of town opposite the COOP. The walk from the Stechelberg cable car was less than 5 minutes. Cannot fault the staff, they are the best in the business! Nothing, everything was superb.

The Hotel staff were excellent! They accommodated a late arrival check in and were very helpful in planning for this ahead. We arrived late and the kicten staff were able to accommodate a late dinner for us. Finally staff was very helpful with assisting an injury one of our party had gotten while skiing.
