The property was beautiful. Stunning views and very friendly stuff. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport. The breakfast was provided for us as well. The property is managed by a family and the business apparently had run since 1987. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The swimming poor overviews the sea and the sunset is magical. The propert is a 10 minute walk from the town centre. It is quiet and peaceful but minutes away from a busy mycanos town where you can party your night away.

Such a cute little hotel! I can't believe it's only 2*! The room was pretty spacious and had a big wide balcony, the views from which were amazing - you could see toward the New Port one way and the old town and even the windmills in the distance the other way. There was an issue with the balcony door when I arrived but it was fixed straightaway. Everything was spotlessly clean too. The pool area was beautiful - so clean and well maintained, I would say more than some 5* hotels I've stayed in! Also amazing views from here - you can't beat lying on a sunbed, with Rose in hand, reading your book overlooking the Mediterranean sea! The first couple days I was there it was very windy but it felt pretty sheltered from it. There was a bar as well by the pool serving drinks and some snacks, which was very handy. It's a bit of walk to the old town but not as bad as I thought it was going to be, going by some other reviews - about 10 mins to the Old Port and then another 5 or so to the edge of the old town. And I always felt safe on my own. I arranged transfers from the Port and to the airport with the hotel which were fairly reasonably priced (especially compared to the other islands I went to) and they were very flexible. Also I arrived at the hotel about 11am and as my room was ready they let me check in early, which I was very grateful for! Only a few very minor quibbles. The shower only had a screen on one side - it was only a regular sized shower, so you couldn't help getting the floor all wet in the bathroom. They never seemed to have regular tea (English breakfast) at breakfast, luckily I had my own teabags so it didn't really matter, but if I hadn't I would have been rather disappointed. Nothing to do with the hotel itself but the road to the Old Port/Town was narrow and sometimes a little hairy but at least is was pretty quiet - it's not a main road.

Breakfast was simple and same throughout my 3 day stay. The bathroom is somewhat small and if I were a bit bigger size, I would not be able to fit into the toilet bowl. Size of toilet bowl. Very small.

Great views. A bit of a long walk into town and uphill going back.
-
The pool was fantastic as was the view. The towels ought to be thrown out. The bathroom gets flooded with water when taking a shower and it’s that bit far away from town that you limit your trips to avoid the hot walk up. It would also be a nice gesture to provide free drinking water so guests don’t have to carry it up the hill.

The room was nice and the view from the balcony was amazing. The pool is big and deep which is great and the view from the sun loungers is amazing also. The staff were friendly and always helped if you needed anything. Showers a bit small and water kept going out of the shower cubicle
-
The pool and included breakfast was very nice, the view from the room was spectacular The shower head wasn’t very clean and we found our door unlocked randomly in the middle of the day
-
Pool / staff was amazing Rooms - they looked a lot nicer / modern / bigger on line than they actually were
-
The property was clean and very good location. It would have been good to have some hooks to dry the towels on.
-
View and Pool Breakfast is very limited

Pool was great. We walked about 15 mins from town and was able to check in and use the pool until our room was ready. Checked in alittle earlier and the staff was great!

I was really impressed with Hotel Gorgona. The staff were super friendly throughout the stay, the breakfast was great and included local cuisine, and the view was extraordinary. The room had a great balcony and cold aircon. It was everything we could've asked for!
