Pension Marias

The location was about a 20 minute walk from Mykonos Town, so not too far and on a lit main road so you could see at night too. Not exactly the best located but for the price it was decent. Place was clean and still had that Mykonos vibe, we got a free pick up from the ferry port and then to the airport which was a lovely addition and very appreciated!

Simple but good, as expected.

Great location, short work into Chora, or 5 minutes the other way to the port where you can pick up a sea taxi for €2. Supermarkets also down the road where the port is. Overlooking the sea and 50km away from the beach, it’s literally across the road. Rooms where great, bed and pillows especially comfortable, they even have a little fridge in the room which is extremely handy. Rooms air con as standard also. Communal terrace so you can sit of evening and have a drink. If the bar is closed you can sit at the tables and drink your own drinks, not a problem. Plenty of comfy seats offering a lovely view wherever you are as the garden/terrace is really pretty. Lovely breakfast and coffees, staff amazing. Family run business, Maria still makes the cakes and they built this place into what it is today. Ilyiana who was the main hostess and co owner was absolutely fantastic, her vibrant, friendly manner and warm hospitality truly made my experience all the better. She absolutely couldn’t do enough for everyone. It’s the kind of place where you walk in a customer and leave as a friend. Superb. I should have booked longer

Very nice place! The owners are extra nice, very welcoming, you feel at home since the moment you arrive. They picked up us at the airport and drove us to the port when we left. Highly recommended!

Place was amazing, very good location, staff was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. Hliana was lovely. We booked a room with view to the garden but it was not the one we booked.it was a little bit small with no view at all but at least clean and decent.

Nice stuff and amazing location. It was very close to the twon and it’s reachable by walking Bathroom was very small.

We are Gemma, Imma and Abril. Our stay was excellent!! Especially for the super kindness of all the staff from minute 1. The guy picked us up at the airport and took us on the last day. Ilyiana is super attentive and will explain you everything you ask her about the island, as well as recommend places. And Ana will make you delicious breakfasts! Especially the omelettes. Thank you to you all!!!!☺️ Unimportant, the fact that the room could not be completely dark during the night. Daylight came in in the morning because there were no blinds.

A lovely stay, very welcoming and helpful staff

All staff was very friendly and helpful the whole time. Breakfast was over expectations. We saw them going an extra mile for all the guests! From service to explaining where to go and what to do. The guy from the motorbike rental was also extremely nice. Congrats again for your new baby! We recommend this place for sure! Need some big umbrellas or any extra shades over the tables.

Iliana did a great job in getting the guests comfortable from offering a free free pickup, welcome drink and information about seeing around in Mykonos. The room had a very nice overlooking the new port and sea. The pension place itself is very beautiful and well taken care of. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant of pension Maria with reasonable prices. Comfortable beds and A/C in the room. Well organised hotel with each people working on different areas with full dedication. Iliana is lucky to have such a great team working for her. Really enjoyed the stay here. 1.6 Kms from the Mykonos town. You can walk or take sea-bus which is much easier. There were no major problems during our stay. Whole of Mykonos was very costly and the price for stay as well. It may sound like less value for money when you compare with outside Mykonos. For the same price in London you could stay in 5 star hotel. That is reality of Mykonos. Terrible roads to walk even for 2 mins and with kids you have to be very careful (not fault of hotel). You should be prepared to walk in this road while you book this place if you are not going to hire any kind of motor. Some minor points - I did request for a dust bin to be provided in the room which was never provided. We used a rubbish cover we brought from shop for the whole stay. Ordered fish specifically on a day but it got sold out by the time we returned that evening. It was partly our fault that we returned late but they could have reserved a portion as it was a specific order for fish from our room.

We were welcomed with kindness! They picked us up from the airport and upon arrival to the hotel we felt completely at home. They offered us a cold drink and since we were there early and the room wasn't ready yet, we were fully accommodated with somewhere to change and put our luggage so we could go out and explore while we were waiting. The room was comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the water. It was clean and well cared for. AC worked great. No complaints about our stay!! The only thing was the walk to the city was a bit scary as Mykonos doesn't have pavement (NOT the fault of the hotel, obviously). We found an alternative path with less traffic and it worked out just fine :) The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to Mykonos town, some hills but not too bad of a walk!

Excellent genuine Mykonos setting. Nothing ( the public bus service is poor but there is a shuttle boat nearby for €2 though the walk to it is a little tricky on a busy road)

This pension is a very little paradise. Near the center of Mykonos town, with beautiful people. Food is very very good and cheap. Eliana help us in everything. There’s free shuttle service from and to the airport. I love this structure!

Very cute hotel with restaurant and tidy comfortable rooms and a good distance from both ports and the centre of Mykonos.

Cute little place. The restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner was lovely too.
