Blockade Runner Motor Inn

Checked in on a Friday didn’t realize there was no air conditioning in room until that night due to holiday no staff to report issue . Had to wait until the second night for it to get fixed around 8 pm . It was a very hot weekend staff didn’t even offer a fan.

The shower curtain was covered in mold, carpet is really really old and dirty, back door would not lock, blower dryer didn't work. But the staff was wonderful and the restaurant was great.

I do not vacation but maybe once a year. This was a horrible experience. From the time we walked onto the walkway of hotel to inside the room there was so much that was unclean. The walk ways had molded looking spots where things use to sit that had not been cleaned. Pieces of the walls missing that were poorly patched. Inside the room there was some sort of liquid spilled down the cabinets. Inside the cabinets looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks. The carpet was not properly cleaned & vacuumed. The photos on website were VERY misleading other than the front of the building. We took our belongings back out, left the keys, & had to spend money that was vacation funds on another hotel room. Chase was very pleasant & helpful in assistance with our refund. It was a very affordable price & location was great being oceanfront. We normally wouldn't be able to afford oceanfront & many outings or shopping while there. And could've this time had we been in a better place & not had to spend additional monies after driving 3 hours to get there. I hate we had such a bad experience and hope that you all do a better job with cleaning & advertising in the future.

Location Outdated, felt like I was walking onto the set of Golden Girls?, 1 washer and dryer for the whole facility, room smelled musty, carpet was nasty, limited cooking supplies, iron will ruin your clothes, tenants smoking weed all day long….the list goes on and on.

The floor was wet from s leak, and the tv had no sound.

Access to the beach was excellent. We watched the fireworks that went off at Cherry Grove pier like we were watching from a local park.

Great place to stay in Cherry Grove. Beach right on the beach, easy to access.Once you figure out the system to get your key. Lack of staff is a little strange, but also nice as well keeps the place quiet and private.

Beach view is perfect love it. Always parking. About the clean rooms no pretty good. I love the environment and the location is perfect.

Great location and fair price. View of the ocean was beautiful! Will be staying again soon! They are the nicest people working there. This stay we had a mattress that needed to be replaced. But we made the best of it.

Location to the beach No towels in the room. We were on the 5th floor and had to go back downstairs to get towels. Only half a shower curtain. Truly. It was only about 3 feet long. The room was not clean. Found a used back scratcher against the wall from the previous people and can tabs against the wall.

Location, pool was nice Nasty. Room stunk, nasty stained carpet and bedding, broken furniture, outdated appliances, bugs on floor behind bed

The staff was very very friendly and helpful. It’s a great location but the place really needs updating. Also since Elliot reality took this over they really should know with a full kitchen there has to be at least 1 roll of paper towels or kitchen towels etc. There was nothing. The restaurant/bar downstairs had a really good breakfast and the bar in it was very well stocked and popular for a smaller hotel. This could be a great stay if they would update the place

Very clean, the staff were very accommodating. Would stay here again!
