Place is nice and cozy easy check in

Loved that it was so well taken care of. Super clean and loved the mid-century style. Definitely would stay there again.

The room could use a deep clean, the microwave didn’t work also. The room was very retro that’s what made me pick the place, check-in was a breeze and very easy.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was lovely.

Plenty of parking, clean rooms and great location

Very simply put. Great place to rest your head at night, take a dip in the pool and entertain yourself elsewhere. Two restaurants and beach a block away with live music nightly. Property was clean, quiet and no problems. Felt safe. For the money per night and location solid. Would stay again.

The staff was amazing. It was really cool to walk out the back door of our room to the pool.

Staff and Parking was excellent. They are close to the beach.

Clean room. Comfortable bed & pillows. Nice shower with good water pressure. the motel felt safe and was just a block from the beach. It was also walking distance to a Starbucks that was just 2 blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the online check in. I enjoyed my stay. Be advised, however, there is a $500 hold on your cc for damage or a $40 non-refundable fee for damage insurance. I think $500 is very steep. I pd the $40 non-refundable fee but that was an added expense that I wasn't expecting. Aside from the extra fees, the accomodations were very nice.

This historic motel was the perfect stay for us! The rooms have been renovated and we had a patio right off the pool. There is easy access to the property, office, and it's just a block to the beach. Parking was right outside our front door! Everything was very clean and the property manager checked in on us personally to make sure we had everything we needed. Holiday Shores is a hidden gem amongst the high, flashy resorts that surround it. If you are looking for a quiet, clean, and friendly part of Myrtle Beach you can't find better (I've stayed at different places in the past). We will definitely be back to stay again in the future!

Clean room organized , excellent staff parking amazing

Excellent location, clean . The beach a 2 minute walk.

Didn’t trust the ice machine, as it is kept outside. Front door to room cld be adjusted as it had a big gap, although closed and locked as motel is directly to outdoors. Stay was decent. Would book again if completely no where else to stay. Decent for the price. 5 minute walk from the beach and tourists stuff. Best part of the motel

First time in Myrtle beach and would definitely stay here again. Very clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. 3 min walk to the beach and the pool was always clean. Located next to everything!!

Clean room. Quiet and peaceful

I needed an inexpensive place to stay for three nights so I could visit with friends and family in the area. I discovered this place on Expedia and it had a 9 rating, so I took a chance. It’s an older place that has apparently been recently renovated, or at least my room was. Kinda has that mid-century look. The bathroom was very new and the whole room was clean and freshly painted. A/C worked great. Plenty of space. Plenty of parking. It’s a two story structure and all the rooms surround the pool area and the bottom floor rooms have a door directly to the pool. I did not use the pool, but it appeared to be clean and well maintained. This location is located in a great area with anything you need just minutes away. Truthfully, I have stayed in worse places that charged twice as much! I was very surprised that I got a quality, clean room in that location for the price they charged. If you book a room, be sure to follow their pre check-in instructions ahead of time as you check in yourself with a code when you get there. The facility manager was great to work with.
