The breakfast was on the top floor with a view of the Japanese Alps, with a variety of Japanese and western food. The entrance of the room is too narrow to fully open a 158cm luggage

Great location 5 minute walk from station. Comfortable rooms - we booked two twin rooms and they were directly next to each other so the kids were close by. Fabulous shower, lots of toiletries, choice of buckwheat pillow. Absolutely fantastic well labeled buffet breakfast with lots of great options for vegetarians as well as opportunity to try Japanese foods along side more familiar western options. Empty items refilled quickly. Amazing views from buffet room on 16th floor. Good coffee.

The room is very spacious, which we really appreciate as it is not very common in Japan. Wonderful views of the mountains and city at the breakfast restaurant. Amazing breakfast, lots of variety. All was good.

The hotel is located 12 minutes walking from the Nagano station, or a 5 minute by bus. On the main road that heads to Zenko-ji temple. Very convenient. Breakfast buffet was incredible. Bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The only thing was that when I booked the room was $65 a night, I ended up paying upon arrival and the room price went up to almost $90 per night. So I suggest that you pay in advance. Staff did not speak a word of English

Great location with easy parking. We had a car to do day trips and it was easy to navigate. The room was larger than expected for a well priced hotel. I would stay at JAL any day. Great breakfast. Room had huge windows on the 16th floor. Nice buffet. The bathroom was small but modern. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Nothing. Great stay.

Japanese breakfast buffet was amazing. Great to try many tasty dishes. Well labeled in English for tourists. Wonderful food experience. Room was great too either complimentary drinks in the fridge. Staff were helpful with early check-in at small additional cost. Laundry room available.

- spacious room that is clean and cozy, very comfortable beds - also spacious toilet with a good sized bathtub - very nice view of the Japanese Alps while having breakfast - helpful and approachable staff - delicious breakfast - very good value for comfort vs price - exceeded my expectations! - the hotel location was around 10-15 minutes' walk from Nagano station. not really a negative thing, the walking route is very charming, not too crowded and stressful compared to Tokyo and Osaka. You can take a bus too, that brings you within 5 minutes' walk to the hotel

The room is clean and spacious.The bed is really big, the length and width are the same. The car attendant works very hard, he is capable, responsible and helpful. The only downside I can find is the absence of a clock.
