The beds were extremely firm.

Location and Parking as we had a Rental Car - limited spaces on first in basis. A large hotel that appeared to host several coach tours. Check-In was all good as per booking. Walking distance to shopping centre and food outlets. Elevators (Lifts) were OK. Quiet area and quiet in rooms. Cleanliness Restaurant was unavailable for Dinner and nearest options were 10 minute walk in zero temps and snow. No info provided for other local food options. Initially wi-fi took time to connect but it seems like they had maintenance inspect and rectify the issue. Eventually worked OK. No option for "take-out" or room service.

The room fridge worked but the freezer part didn't work so my ice packs that I brought couldn't freeze. So I had to buy bagged ice. The walk to the hotel from the train station was a bit long. The restaurants close by were all closed by 5. Seemed like the town was dead

the staff are very friendly We were in the south building, smell of cigarettes the elevator gives you 1 millisecond to enter or exit before closing doors no beds for kids small rooms

Fabulous hotel, great beds, laundry facilities, size of room 20 minutes walk to station, not enough restaurants nearby, dinner very expensive.

The hotel was very pretty, location is very good - near to many restaurants cafes and the Zenkoji. Rooms are very spacious in Japanese standards. Breakfast was delicious and the staff so friendly and helpful. Toiletries in the bathroom are top grade too Selections in the washoku breakfast can be changed /of greater variety. They were tasty but after staying 3 nights, it was getting a bit boring to the tastebuds
