Hotel Benaco

The location, the friendly staff (most of them), the quiet at the inside rooms, sound isolation, comfortable beds, cleaning, clean rooms, lift, dog friendly, nice natural water in the shower... Breakfast needs more care, especially the pancakes that were not fresh, hard and cold, old vegetables without taste, coffee that I preferred at the end my own (first time in Italy when I did not like coffee!) ... I guess they can do better!

Minor: parking 600 meters away, no big deal

close to the beach and beautiful view lack of parking space/the “free” parking is a bit far away from the hotel…

Claudio, the owner, is an excellent host. He never missed an opportunity to greet and visit with me. Additionally, all of the staff, from housecleaning to bartenders and servers were always pleased to see me. The location is right on the Marina and offers a wonderful view of the mountains and Lake Garda. I stayed in two different rooms and each was consistent with the hotels cleanliness and overall awesomeness. The breakfast daily was super fresh and always abundant. One day, there was some left over Tiramisu from the previous evening. Simply awesome to have such a great dessert for breakfast!! Having to check out and leave!

Old but nice hotel, direct on the lake. The room was just big enough for one person. As a hotel guest you are not allowed to sit at the hotel restaurant terrace if you are not ordering food. That ruined a lot of hospitality...

A perfect location in the center of Riva del Garda. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was good. - The air conditioning was not good and did not cool the room effectively - The furniture and overall decor are quite dated

Good location. Breakfast easy self service with plenty of choice to suit all. Restaurant area very presentable and food to high standard. Observed hotel staff diligently going about daily routines. House maintenance team definitely add value to hotel. Room very clean. Room decor a little seasoned maybe a little spruce during off season. Soft mattress.

Hotel Benaco is right on the lake. We had a very comfortable room with a balcony looking down the lake. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was extremely quiet at night. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to have an excellent breakfast included in the price. When we left the owner gave us a pot of local honey. What’s not to ? Nothing

Location and service Nothing really but the shower recess was a little small but typical size in Italy.

We loved everything about it! Location, comfort, spaciousness, quiet, great staff, fabulous breakfast…. I would definitely stay there again. No complaints.
