CABIN & HOTEL ReTIME - Hostel

Convenient location, clean facility, reasonable price, comfort and parking convenience. Very good spa/bath/sauna facilities. I hate to point to a particular individual but there's one staff, who start working there late last spring, his demeanor is consistently very combative, never smiles, nil "thank-you", unable to communicate clearly and made me very uncomfortable. I had same experience back in June when he was being trained, now in December exactly the same. Other staff were friendly, helpful and amicable.

The property is close to the Asahibashi station of the monorail and also the Naha bus terminal. It is also close to shops.

I really enjoyed the hotel for its facilities and the comfort they provided. The fact that the relaxation area (which has a big assortment of manga books and comfortable chairs) is right next to the public bath is exquisite. The staff was helpful and didn't let the language barrier stop them. All in all it was a great stay! Does not apply to my stay

Tidy clean and comfortable cabin room I booked and stayed. Large Bath room was a good one! Need room key token to access floor toilet. But it did made the sleeping area quiet No drinking or eating in the cabin floor. I understand but maybe better to allow drinking water at least...

Excellent location mere 7 minutes (I timed) from Yui Rail Monorail Station. Just about everything is within walking distance, saves you on parking fee. Convenient EV Scooter rental on site. Toilet/bath-spa all very clean and modern, up to date. The capsule is large enough, stays quiet. Lobby lounge is large, appreciate the free drink-bar. Overall it's a high quality capsule hotel with lots of amenities. The check-in staff, he must be a trainee on first shift, was less than satisfactory in term of customer interaction. The entire third floor, the air is constantly "stuffy". There's enough air flow but it's all circulated air. Air conditioning being full blast most of the time, it really needs some sort of ventilation system to let the outside air in. Many people dry their laundry by placing wet clothes on suitcase which exasperate the issue.

In fact, it's a youth capsule hotel, has a women-only floor, but is is weird that the elevator is not controlled, anyone can go up to the women-only floor, and the public area on the 2nd floor is very crowded at night.

Property was immaculately clean, modern, safe & affordable. It was conveniently located 2 blocks to a Lawson & 4 blocks to Naha Bus Terminal where you go to almost anywhere on the island. The breakfast were superb and affordable less than $5 USD The only thing is the slippers were kind of funky but the bathroom slippers were suberb.

Everything was great. I liked the location and that they had a place I could park for an extra fee. They had washing/drying machines. The shared bathroom/sento was great. The cabin/bed was warmer than I like. The fan built-in was almost pointless. I went and bought a little fan to run while I slept.

Second time here now...made me realize what a gem it is. . Great "cabin" options, which are quiet and fairly secure - if you are really worried about valuables, just throw them in the lockable cabinet. Great onsen and sauna as well, which is what I want with any stay in Japan! Centrally located to the bus station and basically the main monorail stop, but on a nice chill street. Had to move to an actual hotel for my last day and was disappointed I was unable to stay here another day! Not much? The "cabin" doors are just screens, but the overall sleeping areas are only accessible via card, so still quite secure. The amount of people who walk into main floor and don't take their shoes off, only for the staff to quickly let them know (and it wasn't just foreigners) tells me they might want to update that system a bit. Maybe leave a pair of outside shoes there permanently as an example?

this is my 3rd stay at Retime. The location is perfect, right off the monorail in downtown Naha, yet near to the Koudasi St. action, if I wanted that, except that i like the quiet. Near both lawsons and 7/11 for food, with a view of the estuary part of the river. this is a residentilal neighborhood, so there are great sidewalks and slow traffic, which is an issue for me, since i walk with a cane. The elevator works fast and hits all floors. The public baths , which are also part of the hotel are always very clean and hot with most hours open, and include a sauna. At night the soda machine has many free choices like my favorites ginger ale, and also pineapple. The vending machines have a nice selection. Very seldom a line for use of the washing machines. Nothing i can eat on their menu. i am vegan, but i didnt even see anything vegetarian on there, although i didnt even check the last 2 times i stayed, so that could have changed. the 'kitchen' does not have a sink, so that is inconvenient , to have to go drain tofu, for example, in the bathroom. but it does have hot water pot, toaster oven , and microwave.

Room and price

Great location and lovely staff. The place was impeccably clean and quiet. I booked a cabin room which was good but you still had to be very quiet and use headphones while watching tv and not take phone calls in the room as the room only shut with a curtain. but I did expect this when I booked so can’t complain. The room was very hot and the air-con hardly did anything to help. Struggled to sleep in there during the day because of how hot it was. Note that I’m here in January so I can only imagine how hot the rooms would get in the summer.
