Property was fine but despite advertising a spa it was closed Absolutely no staff on site. When I arrived I was met by other guests saying ‘this place is crazy’

I liked the pool and the size and layout of the condo and the option for room service . The washer and dryer were a great convience. The condo smelled really bad and the curtains and furniture were visibly dirty.

Public pool not maintained in the winter. Thought we would do some polar plunge but the water was gross

The view. The pool. The quiet surroundings. The website said it was a two bedroom villa but there was no walls or door for the tatami room so it was essentially a giant living room with sleepable corners and one proper bedroom. This was misleading and it meant that most of us had to sleep in the open-plan living room. We went there as family and a friend so every time someone wanted to get changed, we had to use the bathrooms which was a bit inconvenient.

The direction from google maps is not correct. And don’t have free water.

WiFi in our room was poor. The problem was not the speed, but the signal was poor in some areas.

There are villas and condo's - appartments. Villas, like the pool have a view on the sea. The appartments only in the back garden. It's a quick ride, or walk down to the small beach under the beach, which is a bit crowded, but still relatively quiet, given that it's the north of the island. The pool is not too big, but nice and quiet. The restaurant in the evening is ok. Service, communication, room cleaning, airco, wifi, .... Basically everything you would require from a stressless time off. The condo's (villas even more) are way overpriced. Look around for some newer places on the island (of Kouri). It values its self-service, which is worthless. The only communication during a week was via email. Upon arrival both living, kitchen and terrace were not cleaned. It took 2 additional days before someone finally arrived. It started off earlier upon request how best to get there. No service whatsoever. Manage yourself, basically. After 5 days still no wifi that is properly working, after 10 emails being sent. The airco on the last day stopped working as well, but ofourse no one you can ask. The pool has towels, like 3 every day - so be fast if you want any ... It was far of a dream island vacatoin for us, but at least we made the best of it. We compare with out experiences in Ko-Samui in Thailand, where we paid half for a 2x better facility. Even for Okinawa, this was a bad experience.

Superb

We booked a sea view suite and it was fantastic. The view was great however it was a rainy season so we couldn't go out to the balcony and the viewing platform above the restaurant. The room was very huge, clean and there were 2 toilets and shower so it's really convenient for our family of 5. Staffs were friendly and helpful when we asked them to help us order food delivery from a local restaurant over the phone. Fast and easy self service check-in and check-out. Overall a very comfortable stay and we would love to come back here again. There were 3 wardrobes but only 4 hangers in each of them.

Exceptional

Restaurant has good food (pasta and pizza), lovely view and friendly staff. Cockroaches and nymphs over 2 nights in our apartment. Even after killing some we found some more. There should be some form of pest control. Also, living room chairs don’t look very clean
