The food was wonderful and the staff were very expectant of our needs. The outdoor private bathing areas available for use were also great. We had asked for a taxi service for our departure and they had one ready for us. Some parts of the location felt old and could be updated. For example, the couch in our room seemed to worn enough for replacement. There were some places under construction . The climate of the location was very humid so it seemed there was some difficulty in managing this. The massage services are brought from outside the hotel so setting up a reservation time took a little bit. Their reflexology service was very light, so it would be good if this was explained in the service menu.

Spectacular view, friendly and professional staff, and amazing hot bath at the rooftop. A great sanctuary to step away from all the busyness, and to be relaxed. The ceiling around the AC unit looks really bad, with paint chipped and yellowed. There are tiny hole and marking on the wall nearby thr entry way when we get into the room, it brings down the value of the facility.

The room was incredibly spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed to showcase the ocean view — a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated for comfort and peace. Breakfast was an absolute highlight — fresh, flavorful, and exquisitely presented. Each dish reflected the essence of Okinawan ingredients and artistry. The private onsen cottages were an absolute highlight, offering a peaceful and intimate way to unwind. Hyakunagaran is more than a hotel; it’s an experience of calm, beauty, and world-class hospitality. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to return! While the price was on the steeper side, the experience, service, and tranquility made it worth every yen.

Rooms are fantastic , bathroom is superb, outstanding view. Breakfast and dinner was also superb Authentic Japanese hotel Lacks some attention to detail in the service but this comes from senior management. Staff were lovely though

Superb sublime hotel. A paradise on earth. 10 for reception, 10 for room, 10 for bathroom & WC, 10 for staff, 10 for open air onsens, 10 for views, 10 for restaurant, 10 for maid service, 10 for the sound of the sea, 10 for ambience, and more. Sometimes it’s so quiet/deserted you think it’s The Overlook from The Shining?!

The room was great, view on the sea side. Very clean, very comfortable. The food was great! I also recommend facial at the spa that was very nice.
