Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chicago Naperville

Estuve hospedado 8 días, lamentablemente el aseo de la habitación era cada 48hrs, el desayuno bastante sencillo.

Decent family hotel with a good breakfast. The hotel front desk was very rude to us upon arrival, trying to charge our credit card a second time and making us wait over an hour to get checked in with our key cards

This Fairfield has definitely aged... room door doesn't open smoothly, shower curtain rod is about to come-off it's wall mount, carpets are worn... But they managed to keep the place clean.

Exceptional

Eating means nothing when I can not sleep because of the quality of air, inhaled in the room stink. The disrespect of the other individual in the hotel. If a person wants to smoke cigarettes or weed they should do it at home . Not everyone wants to inhale that stinky smokes in their hotel room. The not smoking signs need to be removed on the entire doors if people can smoke.

Room was comfortable. Check in desk person was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good.

Everything was horrible

This is a very dated and run down Marriott. I was surprised that this facility was under the Marriott banner. The pool was dirty. It had paint chipping along the edge. Hair balls along the floor and a pvc pipe dripping water into the pool. The bathroom was poorly cleaned. It had garbage from previous use plus hair in the shower. The conditioner was also empty. We booked the room for 3 people and were only given 2 towels.

We had also specifically booked and paid extra for a suite. However, we were later informed that the room qualified as a suite simply because it included a sofa. This was disappointing, as the photos on the booking website clearly showed a suite with a separate living area, which was not what we received. To their credit, the hotel staff was courteous and promptly moved us to a different room. However, the manager was not accommodating and did not offer any adjustment or compensation despite the inconvenience of having to spend our first night in an unusable room. Overall, while the front desk staff did their best to help, the handling of the situation by management left us disappointed.

Everything was good.

I like the breakfast options.

Room didn’t look like it had been vacuumed stuff on floor. Was told 24 hr coffee, none at 5am was told coffee in 20 minutes, 45 minutes later still no coffee. Mildew around pool, property just dirty.

Ok at best. Had to wait at desk 15 minutes before someone graced us with their presence. Hotel needs better cleaning and updates IMO. Not worth the cost.

Disappointing

When we first arrived, our room wasn’t even ready. I was asked to come back. We came back after having lunch and it still wasn’t cleaned. I had to wait again with my elderly parents in the car. We booked a suite, and when we got to the room, it wasn’t as pictured. The breakfast selection was bare minimum and not great. There wasn’t any where to sit because it was so crowded. I would not stay here again.

Hotel is dingy & desperately needs updating — room was dark with yellow stains on the ceiling — no room service while I was there — the tv in the bedroom did not work — I reported this but nothing was done.

I was given a room opposite to the gym, and next to the laundry room. It was so noisy that I did not sleep well. The breakfast was less than the Fairfield grade. The hotel does NOT live up to the Fairfield name. Beware and stay away.
