Palazzo Doria Napoli

Breakfast, especially its elegant presentation in the palatial breakfast room, was excellent and had a tremendous choice of food. Excellent location. Very unique hotel experience. Staff were extremely helpful, especially Antonella and Agnese.

The breakfast was delicious! The location was perfect for walking around Naples and just as important, the location was great for traveling to other cities like Rome and Pompeii. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful and kind!

Staying here felt like a privilege. If you can swing it, definitely book it! You will not regret it. A comparable property, if there’s such a thing, anywhere else in Italy is easily 4x the price. Friendly staff, jaw-dropping rooms, and a breakfast that kept us full until dinner. Five nights was not enough. Naples does not sleep! If the street noise is bothersome there are earplugs waiting for you in the room.

Stunning property, good breakfast, helpful staff. Room tends to be noisy and there’s a vibration from the underground trains however the staff accommodated us into another much larger room which was quieter and more peaceful. The entire property is just gorgeous and very well located to explore Naples on foot. Would highly recommend.

I loved the fantastic environment. You felt as though you were in a palace. The morning breakfast was fantastic. Everyone aimed to please. The beautiful surroundings and calming environment allowed for a feeling of peace. Initially tricky finding my way in to get checked in. Nothing more to say.

Well maintained and clean. Staff are all really friendly. The whole place was so opulent and beautifully kept considering it’s an 18th century palazzo.

Historical, elegant, and the staff was great. Great location and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. That was had to leave eventually.

Perfect location, elegant breakfast when there is one. Ima, who works there is lovely and helpful. First morning there was no elegant breakfast. I got a voucher to local bar which didn’t have anything except cookie and small espresso. I was very upset as I paid for this night full price and breakfast included and I felt they made a good joke or scam. Next two days it was up to the pictures on internet. Also the whole room was shaking at night. I am not sure if this were small earthquakes or something going on underground but all the cups and objects were literally clinging on and off all nights including my bed. I forgot to ask staff what it is as I had very intense schedule. It is not sound proof.

What a great hotel experience. The history of this hotel along with the art and furnishings made it for a memorable stay. Highligly recommend giving this place a try, but only if you want to feel like royalty. I think the bed could have been a little more comfortable and the air conditioning unit seemed small for such a large room. However, these both could be personal preference.

This property is a gem. The noise from the street. To be honest it’s almost imposible to sleep.

Historic, beautiful palazzo with excellent, thoughtful staff, superb breakfast, gorgeous rooms, spotlessly clean, many elegant common rooms with antiques and art, painted walls and fabulous chandeliers. Located in a lively part of the city, you can walk to everything. Highly recommend. Two nights was not enough!

This is an immaculate property that has great history and just so unique. The rooms were so elegant with the paintings and tapestries. Free mini bar and a great breakfast. Staff was very responsive and I think this is the best place to stay in Naples bar none. Nothing.
