Close to transport. Many restaurants in the area. The gas range in the kitchen would not light, due to the igniter not working. The toilet flush mechanism didn't always work properly.
-
a share kitchen near a room. a little bit train voice

Solo bed was hard

Easy to get to from the train station. Cheap cost, good beds. Kitchen was nice. The area seems slightly dangerous. The elevator was a little shaky, and WiFi didn’t work well at times.

couldn't be better placed for the station. Nice to have tea bags and kettle in the kitchen. Really friendly host who was outside waiting for me. couldn't have been nicer ( so apologies for writing things in the didn't like box the general rundown area.. It is safe enough but not ideal for a romantic weekend. Also the lights are a very bright cold white. Would be nice to have kettle in the room Keys are surprisingly big and heavy to carry. I'd go back but it wouldn't be my first choice.

spacious bedroom with lovely view of Mount Vesuvius in a convenient location

It's not my idea of a hotel- more a flat rental. Noone there except to check you in and kitchen shared with other guests. Access needs to be as agreed otherwise noone there to let you in. We arrived early and had to message from outside the locked door. Access from the street to the courtyard leading to the stairs that lead to the door is also probelmatic for the first time. Need to give guests instructions- make sure you stick to your arrival time. You may have to ring the access number (48) to get the external door opened.

a very central location, close to bus station, railway station, restaurants, metro acces, easy to travel with any means of travel. there was NO breakfast, although the name of the accomodation is called B&B, the price paid was only for accomodation, we shared an apartment with common kitchen with other 2 rooms of tourists, we didn t know that before we got there. quite noisy at night because of the trains tracks very close, we could not keep the windows open there were no insects nets at windows. the AC quite old, it had to run all night because of the heat.

Large shower, shower gels. Spacious room, large window. Clean room. Kitchen was not clean and not organized.

spacious comfortable room that was nice and quiet nothing

The host was really friendly and responded to messages very quickly. The kitchen was really good. There was even a good oven. The location was good for getting to other places... The room was very clean With shutters open the noise from trains and the Piazza was very very loud A few things were broken or didn't work. Eg the toilet seat and the sink plug. Also the locks and keys were very problematical. It took us ages to try to open the door to the room and we never really mastered the knack.

We hope this review is placed - the positive reviews bear little resemblance to what we experienced! Not much to like about I Sorrisi Di Napoli - it is quite close to station. Room clean. It is NOT a bed and breakfast as stated on booking.com! I have never been disappointed with a booking.com reservation but this time the score is laughable. Trying to locate and enter the accommodation is a challenge. We negotiated the filthy streets and with assistance managed to enter a gloomy, littered "courtyard". With further assistance someone called the "host" - she eventually arrived, took us through the dismal building up to the accommodation - the tiny lift defies description. Much that is described on Booking.com did not materialise! Our room - broken toilet seat, broken towel rail, no bathrobe, the list goes on. The kitchen was very poorly equipped to be polite. The view of Vesuvius neglects to mention the view directly below - trainline, litter, filth. We never saw the host again in the 4 days/3nights. At the very least update the misleading information! For a start - Breakfast in the room - not so.

Very clean, easy and quick service when needed, fully independent feel, almost as having your own flat, and quiet all round. Thanks for a great stay! Could be cheaper, but still good value. Confusing when booking as breakfast seems included and is shown on signs in the room but there is none included. Kitchen available to use, with some basics (coffee, tea, etc.) which is great, anyways!

Great location near the train station, but in a quiet back street. So easy to arrive, then use as a base to visit surrounding sites by train. Shared kitchen was poorly equipped, the fridge had seen better days, never saw the host and although returning before checkout time, the cleaning lady was already in our rooms making a fuss.

Great location near the train station, so for arriving with the airport Alibus, then doing trips with the train to various sites down the coast. The shared kitchen was rather run down and the fridge not very clean.
