Great location and very friendly and polite staff. Very quiet and dark rooms at night. Slept very well. Super central.

I can't think of anything that I did not like.

This ryokan is right next to Sarusawa Pond and very close to main sightseeing locations in Nara. Our room was much bigger than expected, with plenty of room even with three futons laid out. We had a private shower and bathtub attached to the room which we were pleasantly surprised by. The facility is a little dated but well-kept and clean, and for the price and location, I don't think you can find a better deal. No extra blankets or alternate pillows provided (the pillows provided are the hard traditional ones filled with buckwheat hulls).

Close to everything around NARA park. This place is fro in my and center!! Nothing

They were so sweet and they were clean and orderly. It was right next to Nara park and saw some deer outside their establishment! Good location with a Starbucks right across the pond and shopping lanes close by.

A very nice place to experience ryokan concept. Our room had a view of the small lake and the deers as well. We will def

The hotel itself is in desperate need of updating and a deep cleaning. It did not feel clean. There are no private showers, only public showers and a bath that is available in the evening. Not everyone in my family was happy about this, but others were fine with it. Probably a little overpriced for the quality of the facility.

Nice big room with shower and bathtub. Perfect location not far from the train station. No breakfast available. Pillows were really hard.

Everything. You have to stay at this ryokan, it's a unique Japanese experience. N/A

The location was terrific. By a pond where you could see the famous deerr from my window. The royokan style room was a bonus. Futon was very comfortable. The overall atmosphere just did not have that Japanese zing and warm that other ryokan accommodations had. Also. I never saw another guest. Strange how empty the place felt during Golden Week. The onsen needs to have more hours to attend Especially in the early morning. No one but.me was ever there. Strange.

The breakfast was excellent! The location could not have been more perfect - right next to a nice pond and kitty corner from a temple. I especially enjoyed my interaction with such great group of staff. They were professional, helpful and very welcoming. Mr. Prakash was a super host who answered all of my inquiries right away and went out of his way to help. He allowed to keep my luggage for a later pick up and was very accommodating. I had such wonderful and memorable stay in Nara, thanks to you and your staff, Mr. Prakash! I would definitely stay at this property during my next visit! Nothing.

Amazing location, right next to Nara park and a short walk from Kintetsu Nara station and town. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful!

Location very close to Nara park and the temples. Nice onsen bath available. No meal option. It’s just a hotel.

The location is great and the staff are helpful and friendly. There is a nice lounge downstairs as communal space.

This was a single-night "inbetween" stay that I hadn't put much thought into. The ryokan was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the location quite nice. Breakfast was lovely.
