The food was excellent but it would have been better for me as a foreigner to have an egg breakfast as an option. Perhaps that is not possible in a ryokan.
-
The hotel location, the beautiful views, the amazing museums of art ? and the pure fresh air. The very helpful shuttle bus driver; he was most helpful and lovely person. Also the great vistas and walks on the bridge.

Excellent view from the common area Hotel is outdated, it’s not renovated probably from the opening, gives the vibes from the 60th, big gap under the door of the room so difficult to sleep because of light and noise coming from that gap. Key for the room is very simple from the same ages. Bathroom is pathetic. Breakfast was a huge nice bento box, but everything was cold and seemed leftover food. But price was hot. The dinner was recommended to book, and was overpriced for what you really get. Difficult to get to hotel, there is also a hill to climb with suitcases. Did not use onsen, can’t say anything about it.
-
the location was perfect and the onsen was really good. We selected a smoke room by mistake, because we don't smoke, so the smell for us was really bad.

Easy to get to by Taxi very friendly staff hotel beautiful Nothing

The view in the lobby is great Overpriced, rundown room with mold and wallpaper hanging from the walls. Old wetroom gives mobile toilet-vibes. The ancient door leaves a rim of hallway light at night. Do yourself a favor and just eat at the restaurant if you're here for the view, but don't stay the night.

Superb

Proximity to the bridge. It’s quite old. Needs a bit of facelift.

Although it was difficult to drive to, the view from the lobby area was amazing! The room was very small. There was 2 coffee sachets in the room and when I asked for more, I was refused.
-
Traditional rooms (tatami) in (relatively modern building) overlooking the Naruto whirlpools from restaurant and rooms. Access to building with public transport - a 10-minutes walk uphill with luggage from the bus station. Access to highway bus stop another 5+ minutes to walk
-
should have more sign board on the road to give direction to your hotel.... we miss the tunnel that lead to your hotel...end up wasting 45 mins searching...

The hotel was undergoing renovation at the lobby, so it wasn't possible to see the view as advertised. You could still get a nice (and better) view by taking a short walk outside the hotel. Overall, the facilities felt a bit old and outdated, but still comfortable nevertheless
