Regular TV service was spotty because the remote location. Switch on the remote to the cable TV service which is better

The room and bath size was quite generous with spectacular views of the ocean. Nice to have a quiet beach in front of the hotel though the tour bus parking in front was not ideal. We really enjoyed the public baths with their equally lovely views. Access to the museum and nice walk to the observation platform was excellent. The breakfasts are very traditional Japanese (very nice) with no western options. The staff had minimal english speaking skills and we were not prepared for having to take a bus over to the sister hotel for the dinner meal. The buffet at the sister hotel was Okay but having to dine based on the shuttle schedule was not great. Carpets and ac/heat units need to be replaced which is not surprising since it is an older facility.

The room was very spacious. The water pressure of the shower pretty strong, to me that a plus. The bath area was nice too. We barely used the air conditioner since the room was warm. The gf was happy. Last, the breakfast was very delicious, the amount was good. We enjoyed our Japanese style breakfast. We didn’t touch the bread and croissants. I imagine these are the same food industrial everywhere. The carpet had lots of stains. I guess it costs a lot to clean or replace, specially if the stain is a difficult one. The dinner at the other was ok, lots of things but we concentrated on fish and vegetables. There was some ramen but not good.

Great view from the room. Nice hikes to the lovely Otsuka Museum and the beautiful Onaratu Bridge. Very good dinner buffet. Japanese breakfast.

staff was ver nice and helpful. location was good. room was TOO HOT! AC unit was very dirty (they kindly cleanded and changed filter). But the cover was a down comforter and the room was just too hot for that. they needed lighter summer blankets.

The location was very convenient for the whirlpool observation walkway and strolling along the beach. The room was large and the bath had a sea view, although one would need to be careful not to expose oneself while opening the window to enjoy the view from the bath. The food was tasty and the service attentive. The room decor felt a little dated and the room smelled a little bit of cigarette smoke. Also because we were a little isolated, the meal prices were a little higher than normal. It would have been nice if the different onsen pools were at different temperatures rather than all the same.

The staff were great, especially the manager at the front desk was wonderful. the view from the room was amazing and food was great.

I liked Everything about this hotel. We had a good size room with a beautiful view of the ocean. the onsen also faced the ocean, so in the morning it was wonderful. A few minutes walk to the Otsuka museum. The half board was good, lots of fresh food.
