Fantastic location, beautiful room and patio. Friendly and accomodating staff that helped us find another location when we changed our trip to stay another night. This is a great place to stay! The parking was a little confusing, but only becasue I didn't read the instructions well enough. Pack light, but that's typical throughout the old city.

Quaint lodging on top of Nafplio accessible by car but requires bumpy stone walk to actual door. The room was as described and had additional beds as requested. Stairs and rails and brick trims added to charm but not accessible if mobility prevented. View of bay and Bourtzi castle from veranda. Private balcony for room. Small fridge available. Breakfast was served on veranda and was massive! Delicious and fresh, we packed snacks to eat later! Walk to Syntagmatos square was downhill steps, return was up but adventurous. Parking on roadside is free but is also shared by those who park to watch sunset from the Akronafplia Castle mountaintop.

We loved the view, breakfast on the terrace, how close it was to Old Town, the friendly staff, and the large room and bathroom. The tub was large and great for soaking. The air conditioning was perfect. It's about a 5 minute walk down the stairs to the Old Town, past lots of friendly cats! Plenty of great restaurants to choose from just down the hill. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Parking was a bit challenging, but not so much that it would prevent us from staying again. For our arrival, we weren't sure where to park, so we parked in the public lot at the port. This was quite a hike through the town up and the stairs with luggage. However, the staff told us to park just around the corner in a small lot near the old fort ruins. This was a much shorter, flat walk. However, we often found the lot full and we had to park in the lot by the beach and walk up.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the location was not at all easy to get to with a carry on suitcase....if your backpacking and don't care about comfort this could be for you.

We loved everything about this hotel! The location was serene and the room was so charming and comfortable. Breakfast was too much delicious food and communication was great.

Friendly staff, super bfast, convenience to the old city but know that the walk has hills.

Very helpful with our luggage. Breakfast was very nicely done. View was magnificent and clean! A++

The view Parking is a nightmare. We knew the hotel was high on the cliff but we did not realize it was only accessible by foot. You have the park about 7 mins away and drag your luggage up a rocky, extremely uneven surface path to get to the hotel. Once we arrived, the family greeted us, but that's about all. Hello and here is your room. The room was underwhelming g with only one plug to use. The shower was very slippery and extremely difficult and dare I say dangerous to get in and out of. We were only staying 1 night so we sucked it up, but if our stay would have been longer, we would forfeited or money and stayed somewhere else. Everything about it seemed difficult.

We had a large spacious room with a balcony view overlooking the town and harbour. Great location! You’ll have to pay close attention to Google Maps if you’re driving, as the last 100 meters has to be travelled walking. Don’t use Apple Maps or you’ll end up in a completely opposite side of town.

Awesome place . Really gorgeous rooms, clean, nice breakfast and location. The staff is very helpful.

Excellent location and views!
-
The breakfast and location was great. Unfortunately our room was on the ground floor so our view of the water and the city was completely blocked by the building in front of the hotel.

It is a nice place to stay with a sea view and car parking within a short walk. The room is spacious with a sitting area. Breakfast is OK, but mostly bread. The mattress and pillows are uncomfortable. The chairs are uncomfortable as well. TV in the wrong place to be watched other than from a bed. The bathroom is a little outdated.

Very close walk to everything in town, beautiful location, and fabulous breakfast Not the property’s fault but we arrived during a festival and between no parking and overcrowded streets it took well over and hour to find! Some written directions for getting there/best places to park (during normal, sane times) would be helpful!

Great!

The pension is just below the castle in the old town, up high on a hill, which was the appeal for us. We had backpacks so we managed the many old steps quite well (taxi if you have suitcases). Wonderful view of sea, town and port from our upper floor private deck. So peaceful! Option to have breakfast on our deck was nice. Overall nice, more traditional experience, in a beautiful quiet little city. Only minor improvement would be to add some fruit and yogurt to the breakfast, and less bread items.
