The location is great for visitors who want to be right in the historical part of Nemi, and Ian, the host, was exceptionally kind and helpful. He is also quite knowlegeable about local attractions and contacts for tour guides, etc. I love antique furniture, and the master bedroom was a treat! The bathroom was also stylish. I suppose it could have been set up better for those who travel with the expectation of getting some work done, but there are plenty of places in Nemi where you can sit with a laptop and also enjoy lakeside views and a snack. The rooms were a little dark, but that has the benefit of keeping them cool, so it's an acceptable tradeoff.

We did not realize that the location would be some distance from any actual parking. Not insurmountable but having jet lag and hauling two tired kids and luggage made it a bit of a task. There are some steep stairs down into the room. At night a lot of noise from the street filtered into the room and someone above us had a dog who was constantly running back and forth.

Cute suite for our family, located right in the center and close to everything. The owner was incredibly helpful when we had a problem with our car. The beds could be a little more comfortable.

The property is at the heart of the ancient little town of Nemi, with astonishing views of Lago di Nemi. Our host and his wife were very charming and helpful, and their restaurant serves delicious food.
