Sobek Stone House Cappadocia

Great location but no other guests at the hotel at the time we were staying, since it is not in the main city it had become quite eerie but the staff did what it could to make our stay warmer.

Excellent breakfast. Nice hotel personal during the night shift. Clean room and bathroom. Calm and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel, offering multiple places to sit or lied down and relax. Far away from the village center. You definitely need to rent a car for your stay here. Check-in reception was not so nice. He still tried hard to sell us tour packages. Strong language barrier for communication with the personal. Worn out sanitary facility. No free water in the room. Only 1 pool active at the same time (inside pool only in winter). Using pool was only allowed between 8 to 18, when you are usually out. Extra cost was demanded for spa (which was also not active).

This is the best room in my life for such a price. Amazing, incredibly stunning atmosphere of the Middle Ages and aristocratic luxury.

We loved the room and the way the hotel is setup, it is not too big. The hotel staff are very nice and friendly, we love the interior of the hotel and the the way it leads out to the pool with a beautiful view.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was my most wonderful stay I have ever had in Cappadocia. I tried many many hotels in Cappadocia as I come here often and Sobek Stone House tops them all. The second you step in it leaves you in awe, the interior design of the hotel and rooms is stunning down to the details, the pool and breakfast area is aboslutely beautiful. Breakfast is extremely diverse and fresh. All workers and the hotel owner herself are wonderful and friendly. I will definitely stay at Sobek Stone again in the future.

I stayed in 3 different hotels as my plans were last minute and limited availability but this place was my absolute favourite. The staff went beyond call of duty to assist me. I was communicating with them on whatsapp regarding my arrival as I had some delays , they were very promt . I was welcomed by Tunahan when I arrived very late , his first concern was if I had my dinner. He quickly assisted me to order food from outside as kitchen was closed , I had the smoothest check-in and all information. I was guided to a beautiful room, clean and comfy bed. My morning view was just gorgeous and an amazing breakfast.Even my tour was arranged by them which was very professionally organised compared to feedback I received from other hotel travellers. In the morning I met Damla she was very happy to see me as she assisted me on whatsapp for my arrival. I stayed only 1 night at Sobek , on my departure date from Cappadocia I was very upset that I couldn't make it to my flight without hesitation I contacted Sobek Hotel and Damla arranged my transport from airport so I can stay to have lunch at their restaurant until my next flight.I was welcomed again by Damla with a cup of turkish tea and a warm hug that instantly shifted my mood. As soon as I told them about my flight situation they were very compassionate and did everything to cheer me up . I had an Amazing food and their staff Chala brought me a delicious meal with a smile to cheer me up and the gentleman who made me perfect cup of Turkish coffee.Their manager was the sweetest lady and very helpful, they have a wonderful team. Due to my situation they made sure I reached my destination safely and happy. I have travelled 30 countries but this hotel tops it all. I wish I had stayed in Sobek my entire trip.

The staff were incredible. Super friendly and helpful. Recommended some sensational experiences/tours and booked them all for me without any dramas. They also shopped around for a decent hot air balloon price and didn't just jump at the first price!

Nice pool (in sun), good breakfast and reaaonably (tourist) priced dinner. Family room is great- large main room with queen/king bed and a small side room with 2 single beds. We were only there for 2 nights and enjoyed being on the outskirts of town but could be annoying to have to go to town for dinner. We drove but it was only about 10mins walk - although the summer heat outside when we were there was sniffling.

beautiful hotel with excellent rooms and a delicious breakfast pool could be heated and the sauna is quite pricey at €10

Such a lovely hotel where you feel welcomed 100% And we woke up to see balloons and it was from all the sides, like fairytale ❤️ I booked suite with terrace and it was just wow Hotel is not super modern and fancy but with spirit , where you feel good :)
