Our hosts were exceptional during our two-night stay. They went above and beyond by organizing a surprise birthday celebration for my daughter. The food was excellent, and the room was spacious with a lovely view from the window. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and the entire experience

A Home Carved in Stone – Tekkaya Cave Hotel Staying at Tekkaya Cave Hotel was not just accommodation, it was an experience of genuine warmth and attention to detail. From the very first step inside, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home where every corner has been lovingly cared for. The cave rooms are not only beautifully designed but also carry a sense of authenticity and charm that connects you to Cappadocia’s soul. What impressed me most was how the staff looked after even the smallest details – from a perfectly prepared breakfast, to guidance about local tours, to ensuring every comfort was anticipated before I even thought of asking. What sets Tekkaya apart is not luxury in the conventional sense, but the rare comfort of belonging – where smiles are genuine, service is thoughtful, and every guest is treated like family. In a land of fairy chimneys and hot air balloons, this hotel itself becomes one of the unforgettable highlights. If Cappadocia is a dreamland, Tekkaya Cave Hotel is the heart that makes you feel at home within the dream. Access to upper floors is challenging due to the steepness of the stairs. But they have dedicated person who helps to carry the bags and luggages.

Great location, very nice room, and amazing rooftop views with a fantastic breakfast

Great location and staying in a cave room is a terrific experience. Facilities are excellent and the view from the rooftop is amazing
-
Great location. Quiet rooms. Rooms smelled musty. The room described on Booking was not what they gave us. We had chosen a twin bed with a king bed but they wouldn’t give us this even though we paid for it. Pool is much smaller than pictures

Beautiful facilities Kind staff Everything was great

Had a great stay at Tekkaya Cave Hotel. We had 2 rooms (family of 5). The rooms were very comfortable. My husband and I had a small suite. I really liked it. The AC worked so room was comfortable at night. I loved the pool. Each day after our activities we came back to swim. It’s a small pool but kept clean, and very refreshing! The breakfast was great. I loved the breakfast spread available buffet style. And they also served each person a hot egg dish made to your liking. The rooftop in the morning watching the balloons was great too. I would highly recommend a stay here. Nothing

Great location, friendly staff Dirty pool and too cold
-
Lovely location, friendly staff. Good breakfast The pool was really dirty and very cool, almost impossible to enjoy. We choose the hotel because of the pool, so they are other options without pool with good value and same quality and location
-
Great location. Walk to downtown & sunset point. Very helpful & accommodating staff. Nice buffet breakfast on rooftop deck. Would be so lovely if they had tea & coffee out early in the morning so you could enjoy a cup while watching the hot air balloons at 5am.

What made our experience truly special was the kindness and warmth of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped make our son’s birthday extra memorable. The breakfast was delicious, and the views were breathtaking. We’re so grateful for the experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cappadocia. None

Staff are very helpful and friendly! They even prepared a cake to celebrate my mum’s birthday, it was a super great memory! Thanks everyone! And the view of the terrace is stunning! Not really there

It was a nice and a pleasant stay.

Unrivalled location within the heart of Goreme, Cappadocia's main tourist resort, with a plethora of restaurants catering to all tastes. We were grateful to have been upgraded to a 2-room suite which was spacious and beautifully appointed in a cave. The manager was attentive and helpful, offering recommendations for eating out, with 2 of the 3 restaurants associated with the hotel proving an excellent choice- Lalinda (international cuisine) and Dalchini (south ~Indian cuisine). We didn't try the third, Namaste. The breakfasts were unrivalled- home cooked and prepared with a wide variety of Turkish offerings, including delicious salads. Egg dishes were cooked to order. To avoid disappointment, we would highly recommend pre-booking balloon flights before visiting the area. We drove ourselves, with all main attractions being easily accessible by road. Unavoidably, the pool was closed after a short cold spell; it opened as we left and looked very inviting.
