It was the Perfect getaway! The room was outstanding with the best bed we’ve ever slept on, my wife and I are now buying one of our own. The area was so comforting and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

The directions take you to the home at the end of the street except them home is actually just to the left. The room was cute but other than the bed not very well cleaned. Whoever cleans does spot cleaning but not a good clean. Walls, mirrors, and shelves were not clean. The bed however was incredibly comfortable. The best sleep I have had in a long time. Pillows, bedding, and sheets were a 10 out of 10. The location was great as well. The grounds in the back of the home could use some up keep and the hot tub needs a good cleaning. The location by the water was nice.

Peaceful tranquility on a gorgeous river bend. Lovely accomodations and an exceptional hillside landscape with multiple terraces and galleries. Very convenient to Greune.

Charming little inn on the river. The rooms have views of the river and the property has great sitting areas to relax and enjoy nature. Close to nearby Gruene Hall.

The rooms are not modern, they have an old house feeling, nothing bad but take that in consideration. The place is clean and location is great. We enjoyed our stay and we recommended this place to all our friends and family.

This was an absolutely wonderful weekend. The Texan Room at Lamb's Rest was flawless and the property was divine. The local area has SO much to offer. Can't wait to go back.

Nice property but not convenient for larger vehicles. House was ok but not ideal unless you rent all the rooms. Sharing a house with strangers is not ideal

It has a nice deck overlooking the river with plenty of cozy sitting spots to unwind and enjoy the view.. Our cottage was quiet and comfortable. The hosts had a variety of breakfast and snack items. You’re just a few minutes from Gruene shopping and restaurants. Charming place to stay!

Lambs Rest was perfect for our weekend getaway! It was close to Gruene, which was the main purpose of our trip. The many deer in the area made it most pleasant and engaging!
