The showers need a grippy mat or some kind of texture on the bottom and maybe a rail because I almost busted my ass twice and so did my fiance. Everything else was great. The beds super comfy. The amenities were awesome. Access to the river for tubing and kayaking.

I would love to give this place five stars, given the modest price we paid for two nights, I think it is 100% a great value! We were here midweek, late in Summer so it was very quiet. We sat by the pool both evenings alone, very peaceful under the trees. Beds are comfy, rooms are tiny, and the AC is cold! Our room faced the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise, but not unbearable. I wouldn’t recommend it to my fancy friends, but if you just want a comfortable place to sleep, the location is pretty central, free parking, easy access, give it a look.

Check in was fast and easy. Rooms were what the pictures show, right on the water. Loved the vibe. The bed was super comfortable as well.

Oh my goodness Hacienda del Rio is a little gem. Quaint spot with great amenities. The staff were super friendly. If you like to float the river, the Guadalupe is just steps away. The pool and club house were also amazing. I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel room was amazing and very cozy. Staff is friendly and happy to help. I really recommend this hotel. Plus, it's right next to a river! You also get a discount for tubing on the river if you stay at this hotel. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

Last minute weekend trip to New Braunfels and we found Hacienda. Great location, great facilities and onsite tube rental company on Guadalupe. The Bed and Pillows were the Best we have ever experienced. Definitely will come back in future.

Has a great time. Good river property laid back relaxing and easy access to the river. We had family from 7 to 74 and we all Loved it.

The staff at this property did a fantastic job! The pool and river access were great! This is a renovated hotel and the upgrades are impressive. Beds were very comfortable. The showers are nice oddly designed and that’s my only critique. We had a very relaxing trip to the River
