Hotel and rooms were beautifully decorated. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The elevator was not working when we stayed, but everything about this place is historical, so it was understandable, but also unfortunate and inconvenient for the time being as ice maker was only on the first floor. Lobby, bar and restaurant were all beautiful and staff was professional.

My only complaint was the Elevator was NOT in service. Made it difficult for my mother who has had 2 knee surgeries a bit hard. But other than that, we loved it and would stay again.

Beautifully renovated property keeping true to its original era. The only reason for 4 stars was that the elevator happened to be out when we stayed there and we were on the 4th floor. Got our steps in.

We hadn’t been back since the renovations were completed, and wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The bar and restaurant area have been completely revamped, leaving no reminders of their former appearance. The food was also on point—my husband had the steak frites, and I chose the lobster pomodoro. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bed was very soft. Since we were only staying for one night, it wasn’t a major issue. The reason for my four-star rating is that the elevators were not operational, and there was no TV service available during our stay. Otherwise, we had a wonderful night away and were impressed with the renovations and overall experience.

Great location with supportive and friendly staff combined with a fabulous remodel of circa 1920’s facility make this a must stay place. We will be back

Love that the hotel was within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants. The staff was very quick and friendly in accommodating and working with us with any problems we had. Such as the elevator not working part of our stay. They hand carried our luggage down from the 2nd floor. Very prompt when delivering our car from valet parking. Also loved the singing outside on Saturday night. Very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the hotel and plan to stay there again.

You must pay to park onsite, but there is a free parking lot a few minutes walking nearby. The elevator was really loud, and we could hear it from our room. It woke me several times. The area is nice with a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel room was so hot. The incidental hold they placed on my credit card is still pending as a charge almost a week later. Hotel was very pretty and clean though.

We arrived early and were granted an early check-in to a beautiful corner suite, in celebration of our wedding anniversary, after first staying here for our honeymoon 47 years ago. Valet parking is convenient and the front desk was exceptional. We enjoyed their assistance. The room layout, air conditioning, shower, and other amenities are very nice. We visited the bar, which is also quite elegant, and had nice conversations with both the bartenders and friendly area patrons who were very happy to provide some tips, such as for places to eat and the best locations for tubing. The recent renovations have made the hotel our “go to” for future visits. Thank you for such a wonderful time!
