Everything was great, we always stay here when we’re in town. Breakfast is great and rooms are clean.

Elevator wasn’t working. Pool was so filthy we couldn’t swim. It had a cigarette, butt in the bottom and wads of floating hair. The fire alarm went off every morning between 5 and 6 AM.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that I had a great experience at Holiday Inn express in Avery Islands, Louisiana. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter loved and enjoyed the pool very much. The amenities were great. I even got a chance to work out. The room was very clean fresh nice smelling the bathrooms were also exceptional. Thank you Holiday Inn suites for making this a great weekend.

My husband and I stayed here and the staff was excellent and kind and Stacie made sure to check on us to make sure we were pleased with our check-in and stay. My husband, who struggles with hotel pillows brought one from home didn’t even need it because their pillows were perfect. The breakfast and coffee station was great and the air conditioning…I had to turn it down a bit, LOL! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The only drawback is the parking. It can get a little tight for spaces during weekend evenings
