This was a grandparent-and-grandkids trip to New Orleans, and unfortunately, the hotel was a huge disappointment. The lobby is beautiful, but once we got to the room… WHOOP, THERE IT IS. The bedding had stains and holes, there was dried-up food on the floor, and our supposed “view” was absolutely ridiculous — see the video because I can’t make this up! We were also disappointed to find bugs in the pool, especially since we had the grandkids with us. I will give credit where it’s due: the customer service was good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. But a beautiful lobby and good customer service cannot make up for a dirty, poorly maintained room. Older hotels are understandable — dirty rooms are not. And unfortunately… we couldn’t sleep in the lobby.

All around it was a great stay

Great stay. Easy to check in and move around the French Quarter. Great communication before, during and after our stay.

Our room was clean and had a good amount of space. Most of the staff was nice and professional. The location is perfect and allows access to everything you need, including public transportation. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is one block from Bourbin Street which is a good location. However, I feel it is a little dated. The staff was wonderful.

I love this property because you walk right out to Bourbon St and there are many restaurants to choose from. Its a one stop shop basically. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable.

It was a older hotel and the area was really busy because it was right next to Bourbon Street so there were lots of unsavory character's around the building.

The hotel is in an amazing location. We stayed in the Astor tower which from my understanding is a newer renovation. The building is amazing and very beautiful with great views. Hotel was super clean and very well staffed. Already planning our next stay.
