The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Very clean hotel and rooms. Nicely updated large deluxe room with balcony, very comfortable bed, and a/c worked extremely well!! Our safe didn’t work and a tool needed to be ordered in order to change the battery, and unfortunately they never came back to fix it. Ice machines were on every floor but only the 4th floor ice machine worked, but was not that big of a deal since we still had access to ice 👍 There is no bellman or luggage cart so be prepared to do it yourself. However, Pierre that checked us in offered to help us but we took care of it on our own. Nice quaint swimming pool was so refreshing. We’ll definitely use this hotel again!

Spacious rooms and suites, clean and comfy, most with balconies! Le Richelieu also has gated, on site parking at a decent price if you’re driving in as we do. Front desk staff are friendly and always helpful. The location is prime for restaurants, entertainment and sight seeing. Old New Orleans charm awaits your arrival.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. Gorgeous suite room with a balcony. Great pool in a beautiful courtyard. Excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location, staff, pool and balcony!

Cons: Dated. There was no microwave and a VERY small fridge, which sat on the floor. The pool, and surrounding area, definitely needed a cleaning. From my window the pool water looked dark.

My wife and I loved staying here! Everyone was so nice and helpful our whole trip! We will definitely be staying here again

Our room was simply appointed, but perfect for us with two bedrooms so our daughter had her own bed. The suite looked out onto the courtyard pool, which we used during our stay as well to cool off. They provide towels for guests too, which was wonderful and saved us having to pack them. The hotel was located in a quiet section of the Quarter, and I'd imagine even in high season it would be quieter than many other properties. It's convenient to both the French Quarter and Marigny/Frenchman Street. We walked practically everywhere, even in the heat. We would absolutely stay at Le Richelieu for any return visits to New Orleans.

The proximity to hotspots in the French quarter is a plus. Secure onsite parking is a plus.

Great location. Walking distance to everything around, parking was a huge plus. The room was clean, spacious and AC worked really well. Property was well kept.

Property could use a little touching up but our room was nice, bed comfy, and the balcony was wonderful. Staff was amazing and the bar and pool were fun.

I really like this hotel!

Hotel and room were clean. Staff was friendly. TV wasn't working. Previous occupants tried to program it with their personal Google account and caused it to malfunction. Staff tried to fix it, but were unsuccessful. We were told that they were going to try to find us another room with a working tv, but we never heard from them again after they left. We were given a couple of free drink vouchers because of it, but it was late and we were tired and did not use them. Our main problem was the sexual noises emanating from the room next to ours for two entire nights and also during part of the morning and afternoon. We did not say anything to the staff about this, but we did not sleep well, and my husband wasn't even able to take a nap in the afternoon due to the constant sexual activity next door. Very annoying.

Room was very comfortable, bed was great, bathroom was spacious. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Hotel location is nice, just outside of the party area of bourbon street so not too noisy but easy access to the French Market, Frenchmen St, streetcars, and the Riverwalk.

The rooms could have been cleaner there was some interesting stains on the walls and the shower drain was a bit crusty, toilet seat was falling off. overall though for the price we had a good stay and all the staff was very nice. we also had an issue because we were not informed the parking lot had limited space, we ended up having to walk 3 blocks with all our luggage and they didnt have luggage carriers that went out to the street at all for us to unload our car quickly. that was the biggest issue we had. Although they informed us that the next day when people checked out we would be able to park our car in their lot, which helped greatly when leaving.

Room was clean and spacious. Nice courtyard pool. Quiet end of town.
