My husband and I had a fantastic time at Lamothe. The hotel is located walking distance to most attractions in the French quarter. The hotel itself is a very charming historic building but bathroom is renovated and everything is very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pool was a welcomed amenity. I’ll stay there again!

A great price for a very nice room, located close to many cool nightlife attractions.

This is a very old structure turned into a hotel. It is cute and quaint and in a good area, but it is not super updated. If you are looking for character this is your place. If you are looking for super modem amenities this is not the hotel for you.

We liked everything. What a unique hotel. Built in 1839 so don't expect a new room. Rooms are snug with a king size bed in them. Very comfortable bed. Step in tub/shower. Staff and managers were awesome! We will be staying there again!

The property was nicely located towards the end of the French quarter. The pool was a fantastic amenity

Great location and amenities! Will be staying there again in the near future.

This hotel is like an elderly slightly “shabby”genteel woman—definitely signs of age BUT our entire group of 4 couples loved it. The rooms were updated and very comfortable. The location was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to walk to-Bourbon Street/Frenchman Street/ down to the river front /the WWll museum (yes a little bit of a walk, but easy to do) Parking of course cost BUT it was secure behind a gated code only parking lot accessible out the back entrance of the hotel grounds. We used the swimming pool and it was clean and quiet -fyi there is temporary parking in the front of the hotel while you check in and drop off luggage. The hotel front desk agent was a wealth of information -she has worked there 25 years and so very professional and nice . We felt safe and would stay there again

The location was perfect for us, and it was awesome that they offered a pool and (paid) parking behind a fenced lot. The hotel felt very secure and the price was really great for the offering. We also had a balcony that overlooked the pool, which was really cool! I don't have any complaints. The people were friendly, the place was clean, and the location was tops. The only thing that might bother some people was that the bathroom layout was a little tight. A tall person may have had their knees hit the sink. Not a problem for us, however.

The location and pool were a big plus for this historic district hotel. The architecture and greenery made you feel like you were stepping back in time. our stay went very smoothly. I don’t have any complaints.
-
The bed was comfortable, shower was hot. Great to have cold water in the lobby. But it was a drag to not have a fridge in the room (our bad for not checking) and the wifi was absolutely terrible.
-
We enjoyed this place so much, the location is perfect if you’re one that likes to bounce between the quarter and Frenchmen and the pool is lovely. The whole vibe is very low key, we will definitely keep this place on the repeat stay list

We enjoyed our stay. This property was within waking distance to many things. The courtyard was very pleasant and we enjoyed our time in the pool. The staff was friendly and parking was very secure.

Cute little spot! I love the area. The room could be cleaned a little better. The last persons eyelash and body wash was left behind.

Had a lovely stay.

Always clean, nice pool, great location and pleasant employees. The building and grounds are 150+ years old, keep that in mind and the quirks that come with the age and you’ll enjoy the stay. We can’t wait to return again.

Incredibly helpful staff. Always very kind and up for a chat. Within 5 minutes walking you’re where you might need to be. Frenchmen St is around the corner. Go to The Spotted Cat. My room was comfortable with AC. Great bed and linens. There’s no doubt I will stay here again.
