Maison St Charles

Bad staff. The only nice person there was the security guard David and he does not work for the property. Checked in our room air conditioner, Tv, and lights did not work . Called down to front desk that’s when the problem began . Very rude and did not tell the truth . She said maintenance man was on property and he would have to check our room. Of course he was not there. It took almost 1 hour to get another room . I would not recommend staying there due to the staff. I think a manager should be on property or get better staff. Very very very rude

Nice quite location.

Clean, fairly quiet room, with great location off St Charles. I parked on the street but they have a parking lot onsite. Also a small pool available for those hot summer days. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place has a nice, quiet courtyard to relax.

Great location to take street cars to more popular areas with stops near the hotel. Fantastic setting area's outside with security on the property. We did have an issue with the air working so we were moved into another room. Then we had a homeless gentleman camping on the street outside the new room. He was loud yelling my my teenage granddaughter so we were asked to move location again. I refused to pickup and move rooms again. We were given one free night of parking for that hastle. Yes we would stay here again.

Checked in. sutley@fesco-tenn.com in room didn’t work. Called desk waited on hold for 25 minutes. Had to call back to get assistance. Was moved to another room. That room, the tv didn’t work and didn’t have a lock on the door. Had to use a chair to secure the door.

Also, in the new room, the showerhead was clogged with either line, calcium, or mold and mildew. I reported this as well, but nothing happened. Have you ever tried to take a shower and you felt like you were under a spring with water lightly dripping? It was horrible!!!!! During checkout, I reported everything to the manager on call and he said because I booked through a third-party he could not adjust my room, but asked me to give him a good review. When I booked this room, it was over four stars but I’m finding on Google. It’s 3 stars and I don’t think any hotel should be able to function if they’re 3 stars or less. This was a hot mess, but the staff was friendly. The website was definitely misleading when I booked the reservation because I would’ve never stayed in a three star hotel.

Great stay at the Maison St Charles’s. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The hot tub does not have jets but it was still magnificent.

Overall, superb experience and I will stay here again. I loved the back hotel setting. Gives extremely New Orleans vibe settings!

This is the fifth time staying at the hotel in the last 2 years and will be again in October. The setting is wonderful, as is everything in NOLA. The room was clean and comfortable; yes, it was humid, but the air conditioning kept up - we are below sea level. The pool is great, and breakfast and coffee are perfect. The streetcar is right out front. Walking distance to coffee shops, and plenty of restaurants. Parking is a fee, but we've always felt very comfortable and safe, even parking in the lot across the street. The staff is so helpful; I left some things in my room, and they were more than accommodating, even offering to keep them until my return in October. Don't forget to bring cat treats!

The air conditioner was broken, but when I reported it to Marcos and Yen, they fixed it.

The employees are very nice and the property is tucked away from the bustle of St Charles with easy access to streetcars right in front of building. Skip the breakfast. Room was clean...ish...but not filthy. No evidence of bugs which is ama,ing in New Orleans in Aug. Kitty cats on property keep critters away. Cute. Safe. Clean.
